It does require admission to enter the green house but the price paid includes admission to the botanical gallery as well. There are two parts to the green house. Note to make sure you see everything in the main green house before going to the second part. Once you enter the second part, you can only enter the first part of the green house through the entrance (that requires some walking back). I don't think this is one of the tourist attraction spots. Most of the visitors here are locals or students.

Standing 25 meters tall, the vertical garden is planted with 7600 plants representing 250 different species. While it may not be a top site in Paris like the Eiffel Tower, it's a fascinating piece of urbran art in its own right, and worth taking a look if you're in the neighborhood.

It is like 10 euro here and 10 euro there - definitely not cool. B and I visited all the museums and zoo under the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle. They were all very different than the Picaso museum, Louvre and etc. The museums and the zoo are very education and suitable for all ages. The Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle was founded during the French Revolution back in the 1700s. The museums are easy to get to by metro or bus.

We thought this was the museum itch that would captivate the kids and our interest (as the kids would not be able to handle a visit to the Louvre). It was only okay. It cost about 40€ for our family of 4 for the two exhibits. We love museums and spend hours visiting them at home but this museum was eh...just okay. It wasn't worth the waste of our time in Paris. Our kids and we would have been much happier revisiting the Luxembourg Gardens again (they have a kids' playground that's a small fee for all day access. The playground is enclosed and has a Tarzan swing, great play features, water fountains, and much more). If we had it to do again, we would not have come to this museum at all. The Galerie de l'Évolution was much better than the Children's exhibit (it was a big dud).
