And you'll go to their uneven website and think that 300 in stock wallpapers in contemporary, traditional blah, blah, is an impressive number. Its really not. And, um, lets just say that the selection leaves a bit to be desired if you are under 70 or aren't totally addicted to kitsch statement wallpapers. There is a minimal 'modern' and 'traditional' section, but most papers look like hotel room wall left overs. So...once you have put the wallpaper out of your mind, go for the consignment pieces. They have an excellent selection of hutches, chandeliers, cool china, glassware and other items. The chairs and couches are pretty meh, but their furniture is substantive and most pieces can be had for about $200 which is way the heck better than scrounging at any of the second hand stores on Charlotte I've been too. The owner is super nice, will get you samples of wall paper and is eager to help you navigate the somewhat cluttered store. You'll be hard pressed to find better dressers and desks for the prices that this place offers.

My wife and I purchased a piece from Value Furniture that was in pretty good shape, but had a couple of blemishes. The sales person assured us that their touch up guy is "the best in the business" and that when they deliver the piece it will be fully touched up and look brand new! However, this promise was certainly not kept. As far as delivery goes, the company first said they would be there on Monday, so my wife and I planned our night around them coming and then they called and canceled. They rescheduled for Tuesday. The next day rolls around and the same thing happens...they call an hour AFTER the scheduled delivery time to say they will not be there until the next day. So now, our third delivery attempt comes around and they FINALLY made it three hours LATER than scheduled. Not only did the piece show up with the exact same blemishes, but apparently it got a couple new ones while in transit. Then, to top it all off, one the the knobs had completely fallen off and the delivery guys had to go find it rolling around in the truck. They handed me the knob and said I "can probably find a way to reattach it by going to Home Depot." I was very impressed with the in-store experience, but have been incredibly disappointed in their follow through and delivery. Highly doubtful that I ever shop here again.
