The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. I hired D&D Home Improvements to "fix" the basement finishing work of another contractor that…read morewasn't done to code. Dennis S., the owner of D&D, agreed to take on the job and he worked directly with my town's building inspector to come to agreement on the remediation and bring my basement up to code. When it made sense, Dennis brought in other contractors (electricians, plumbers, etc.) and I hired and paid them directly. At other times, Dennis' crew and subcontractors worked on aspects of the job. At all times, Dennis was personally involved.
