Sprouts is amazing. Jessica Spruill is incredible with the children. If you are looking for a childcare that provides healthy, nutritious, and balanced meals (and not just according to government standards:/), an environment that encourages varied play, independent child-to-child interaction that builds confidence, risk-assessment (in a safe way!), empathy, social skills, patience, creativity, and intellect (among other valuable skills many parents hope their children will have!) without excessive amounts of flashcards, worksheets, and drills, this is your place. Also, Jessica is incredibly reasonable, patient, and kind. Leaving a child in the care of someone else for 8-10 hours of the day can be hard, but with Jessica, I find myself feeling comfortable and confident about how my daughter will be cared for. read more

Jessica is amazing with children. Her program is amazing. We were very happy there. Then she emailed me one day and told me she could no longer watch my children. No reason was given other than "schedule changes" - turns out she had some part timers that wanted to go full time, so she gave us the boot. Sucks, but understandable. The way she handled it was terrible. She emailed me late on a Friday night, saying she could no longer watch my kids. She said she'd be available Monday after closing to speak. I emailed back and said I'd like to speak with her Monday after closing. She never replied to my email. I showed up Monday after closing and she didn't answer her door. She didn't answer my two phone calls. This is a woman who watched my children for 10 weeks and I thought was a good partner in child care. She made us wait (and wonder) for 3 full days without an explanation. So, while her program may be amazing, she may dump you without a reason. Then ignore you while you try to find out what happened. read more
