The weather has been perfect the last few times it was open and I loved strolling through the vendors and really learning about what they were offering. The vendors are are really great people and the live music is the perfect touch! Being located near home is even better (west side of town). I hope it gets more visitors to keep it going because it's so fun to have them over here. They did a fun Halloween event with candy and costume contests. It's a bit more involved than the other markets, even if it isn't the biggest one. It's like a little family. :) I definitely recommend a visit. Grab a coffee or a Kona ice and take a stroll while enjoying the current weather. *This market is located in the parking lot next to Sequoia's and Asada Grill off of Buena Vista on the last Wednesday of every month.

On the Thursday evenings that I am in town, I make it a point to peruse each and every merchant, which by the way consists of more than just 3 tents. I have purchased my fruits and veggies, natural dog treats, hand made craft items, local bee honey and even brought home a hot dinner for us to enjoy. Oh ya, and don't forget to tip the wonderful guitarist/vocalist who keeps us entertained. Overall this most certainly is in no way a Kaiser Sunday market and not even close to the Brimhall Saturday market, but it does have what I need to keep me going throughout the week. Don't be detoured by the negative comments and think about it in a positive. We got ourselves some sweet blackberries to take home. Out on the farm, we had the best tractor ride and learned some fun facts about fruits, as well as slid on the huge slide and played some outdoor games. While we were here, we ate some oakie pies. My favorite is thanksgiving dinner. It tastes just like November-- Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and gravy. They have other tasty savory pies like the chicken pot pie, blueberry pulled pork, and the breakfast pie. Of course, you could get some sweet ones too! We were able to grab the last of the season's navel and Cara Cara oranges, along with some fresh lemons. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We also picked up some dates, which are absolutely delicious. I love mine stuffed with good Irish butter and cheddar, it's the perfect sweet and savory combo. My wife prefers hers with Skippy peanut butter, and she absolutely loves them. As always, the staff were wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It's become a bit of a tradition for us, and we'll definitely keep coming back every time we're in the area.

This bite wasnt just a bite, it changed my entire outlook on jelly or jams. It took my toast to a whole new dimension. The only way I can describe this flavor to you is to say I felt I had taken a bite of cinnamon toast crunch cereal with a slight pear flavor at the end. The pear was subtle and soft but the cinnamon stole the show. The jam has all natural ingredients, no weird named preservatives and had a opened life of 30 days. It wont last that long, I must go back to try everything there and so should you. I think this jam would be lovely with a charcuterie board. Invite me over if you do I will help you devour it .

We got there right at 10am when they said they were supposed to open. The gates were locked. We finally waited in the little patio area (thanks to a thoughtful employee who saw us standing outside.) Employees arrived to open the doors about 10 minutes later. We were disappointed with the poor and meager selection and the prices were too high. I did end up getting some local honey and chicken and 1 peach. I haven't tried any of it yet. I don't think we'll go back. Maybe it gets better as the day goes on when they get more produce in?

In the spring, the chickens must be eating all the bugs and weeds because the spring eggs are LARGE, almost always double yolked, a beautiful shade of golden orange, and CREAMY. I know they feed their chickens well because I am satiated with 2 eggs most days due to the double yolks/large size and just overall great nutritional content. Whereas, I can eat 5 commercial eggs per day and still feel like something's missing. After eating these good quality eggs and royal jelly, my own fertile window and ovulation became easier. Less or no cystic acne during ovulation for me when I eat these good eggs. And when I need easily digestible food, I just eat the yolks raw. They're DELICIOUS! I've been buying their potatoes and onions for several years, and when I stopped being vegan, their eggs were the first ones I ate. And YES, they've been OPEN through the pandemic and are STILL OPEN. They've kept me fed with good quality food throughout the whole thing. Anyhow, I LOOOVE their yellow potatoes. I can tell they're fresh because they're juicy, easy to cut, cook quickly, and don't need as much oil as dehydrated, old, grocery store potatoes. I don't buy my potatoes anywhere else. They're affordable to me as a single person who loves breakfast potatoes about 4x per week. They last a long time if I'm not in the mood for eating potatoes, too. The onions last FOREVER, and are great quality. I typically buy the bag that has more than 1 pound and cook those with the potatoes and for all my other onion needs. Been a customer for close to 6 years, and figured I should finally write this review.
