My cashier was Matthew and he really placed the cherry on top of the cake for the experience.

Took a side quest here on the way to Yosemite and it was worth it! I would have given 5 stars but I…read morecan't get over entry fees to a farm...$10.99pp ages 4+. If you decided to pick fruit you pay by the pound at the end which is reasonable but the fee per person just to walk around seemed on the high end. They have goats, chickens, peacocks, a variety of birds, chickens and roosters and cool art displays. We saw signs for paintballing and hayrides though I didn't see any wagons operating. The main reason we stopped was to try the Okie Pies. I had never heard of them and I am always looking to try new things. They remind me of a large empanada or handheld meat pie. We tried 3 savory and 1 dessert Okie Pie. They were out of blueberry so we settled for Apple and it was good but super sweet. I love desserts and unless you're a diehard apple pie fan you may find this to be too sweet. Savory flavors were salsa verde, chicken pot pie, and blueberry BBQ pork. The blueberry BBQ sounds odd but it was everyone's favorite. Everyone was very friendly and there was even someone who let the kids pet the goats and roosters. We'll stop on the way back home for more blueberry BBQ Okie Pies.

Also we really appreciate that they reuse egg cartons (their own and others) and encourage customers to return empties. As a society we need to be doing more reuse and less generation of trash. They offer volume discount (results in great value over just buying a dozen) and their fresh eggs are not intended to be refrigerated and last. So delicious! I love Gama Farms produce. Most of my breakfast these days consists of their produce…read more The eggs are the best I've ever had, honestly. In the spring, the chickens must be eating all the bugs and weeds because the spring eggs are LARGE, almost always double yolked, a beautiful shade of golden orange, and CREAMY. I know they feed their chickens well because I am satiated with 2 eggs most days due to the double yolks/large size and just overall great nutritional content. Whereas, I can eat 5 commercial eggs per day and still feel like something's missing. After eating these good quality eggs and royal jelly, my own fertile window and ovulation became easier. Less or no cystic acne during ovulation for me when I eat these good eggs. And when I need easily digestible food, I just eat the yolks raw. They're DELICIOUS! I've been buying their potatoes and onions for several years, and when I stopped being vegan, their eggs were the first ones I ate. And YES, they've been OPEN through the pandemic and are STILL OPEN. They've kept me fed with good quality food throughout the whole thing. Anyhow, I LOOOVE their yellow potatoes. I can tell they're fresh because they're juicy, easy to cut, cook quickly, and don't need as much oil as dehydrated, old, grocery store potatoes. I don't buy my potatoes anywhere else. They're affordable to me as a single person who loves breakfast potatoes about 4x per week. They last a long time if I'm not in the mood for eating potatoes, too. The onions last FOREVER, and are great quality. I typically buy the bag that has more than 1 pound and cook those with the potatoes and for all my other onion needs. Been a customer for close to 6 years, and figured I should finally write this review.

I felt like the little cartoon character who is floating while smelling the yummyness of it all! This place is just so cute and quaint. It has a real homely feel and the young lady working was so kind! She was actually the daughter in law of the owner and she was just really personable. You could tell she really loved the family business. We will definitely be stopping in here the next time we are taking a drive down to SoCal! It's too delicious not to stop! You can either buy your baskets right away or look around the shop. Lots of good stuff in the shop, but you should wait until you are heading out to grab stuff. After we paid for our baskets, we loaded into the tram and was driven to the cherry area. When you stopped, the attendances guided us to the 3 rows we can pick from. I understand to keep the crowd controlled and make sure the farm doesn't get trampled. The weather was perfect so we took our time, walked to the back of the rows and moved forward as we picked. They were red and beautiful, grabbed our baskets once they were full and headed back. He did buy some strawberries and honey comb inside the Little Purple Barn. You do have to come early for the pies, there may not have any later in the day. The cherry picking is only on the weekends.
