I think I ate my weight in mini cannolis from here, and my daughter did the same with the cake pops! We tried to behave and only order small amounts with each visit, but everything looked so good that it was hard to resist. Over our visits, we sampled (bought) their ice cream, cake pops, cannolis, turtle cheesecake, s'mores bar, and those giant cookies--and honestly, there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. My daughter especially loved the sprinkle-covered cake pops. The staff was super friendly and welcoming each time we stopped by. Don't waste your money. I bought a s'mores bar, a cannoli and a tiramisu cookie with expresso icing. Everything tasted like it's been kept out all day. The s'mores bar was so dry/hard and tasted like dirt. The cannoli was NOT a cannoli, the filling was not even a lick of sweet. It almost tasted like sour cream. The cookie tasted nothing like tiramisu , it was a soft plain tasteless cookie. No flavor whatsoever. The icing did not taste like espresso it just tasted like icing that had been sitting on a cookie for the whole day. It was dry on the top and the icing itself was sweet but no flavor. Who can resist a sweet after lunch? Not my husband and our friend. As we were leaving the restaurant, they spotted the Sprinkled Sweet and they had to stop. Our friend ordered one scoop of the Chocolate Chunk in a waffle cone. Her phone rang, she handed me her cone, and it was so fragile, it cracked in my hands. The server got me plenty of napkins and put the ice cream in a cup. They then made her a waffle bowl and added the ice cream to that. This was certainly easier to handle. She really enjoyed the ice cream. I tasted it and it was chocolatey with nice chunks in it. My husband tried the Butter Pecan Ice Cream in a cup. He was delighted with his choice. After getting recommendation from friends, we stopped by to get ice cream and had a very mixed experience. As we were trying out a taster flavor another person arrived and was helped as we were deciding. Which is perfectly fine, however it was just odd that they couldn't take our order and we had to wait 5 minutes (and extraordinary long time for a simple order which got messed up) when there were two people staffed. After we got our order ice creams we realized they had also messed up our order and just gave my husband and I the same ice cream flavor - we both ended up with the cannoli ice cream. It was great the first few bites, but soon you realized it's 70% chocolate chips like 30% ice cream. Chunks kept falling from our ice cream cone because there wasn't enough actual ice cream holding it together. I'd recommend it for any chocolate chip lover to be sure, but not the experience we were been expecting. I look for a more creamy experience vs snacking in a bag of chocolate chips when I crave ice cream. They'd also forgotten to give us the actual Cannoli we ordered after they scooped our ice cream. That was delicious. All in all though the experience wasn't very smooth, we'd like a redo for another ice cream date sometime soon to hopefully recover from this first impression. read more

Super adorable ice cream and dessert shop. Desserts are very fancy but also a bit expensive. I also thought they were probably the same desserts two days in a row when I went, but I'm not sure how long cheesecake and parfait are good for, maybe that's normal. Excellent ice cream, though I wish the sundae was served in a low wide dish instead of a tall deep cup so I could get more toppings on it. read more

I wanted so much to like this place, but we were very disappointed tonight. My husband, grandson and I had the pb filled chocolate cupcake, a peanut butter cookie and a sugar cookie. The cupcake was very dry and lacked flavor. The frosting was ok. The pb "filling" was almost nonexistent. Both cookies were practically flavorless. The pb cookie didn't taste much like pb either. It's such a cute little place and everything looked so delicious. Presentation gets high marks. But sadly they just forgot to add some flavor. read more

We visited this shop about 5 years ago when it just opened. At that time the ice cream was just ok, but they have stepped up their game. We were especially impressed with the strawberry and sunrise(coffee) flavors and the waffle cones were so delicious and fresh I would order one by itself. We went there two days in a row. Honestly, we go here all of the time because it's the only sweet shop in town, and it's right in Pine Square. But EVERY time we go, it is terrible. Everything tastes like it was made a week ago--it's always so stale. We have tried almost everything they make. I didn't know you could make cookies or cupcakes taste that bad--how about just use a recipe? The cannolis taste like they are filled with margarine and confectioners sugar instead of ricotta or marscapone. Their ice cream is pure ice, too. Anyway; it makes me so sad, because I want it to be good, or even decent. We want to support local business!! And we will keep going because it is all we have...But it's terrible. While in town for work, I stopped here for dessert after hitting Barrel 135 for dinner with my coworkers. The three of us were craving something sweet as we wandered around in the nice weather. We heard live music coming from The Brickyard so we headed that way and ran into Sprinkled Sweet on the corner. I enjoyed a strawberries and cream cupcake which was a heavy, dense vanilla cake with a huge dollop of sweet strawberry and cream cheese frosting. My coworkers enjoyed waffle cones with cookies and cream ice cream and the sprinkle vanilla bean ice cream. Got a cheesecake and I'm 99.999 percent sure the cheesecake was frozen and it didn't even taste like cheesecake. there was way too much strawberry topping on it as well. My family was forced to order from this bakery when our beloved, go-to baker was booked. If I could give this bakery 0 stars, I would. The cake is dry and uneven and the fondant is disgusting. This reveiw is only geared towards the items I purchased -- cupcakes. I purchased one dozen, 2 of six different flavors that I thought my girlfriend and I would enjoy. They were Boston Creme, Double Chocolate, Raspberry, S'mores, Chocolate with Peanut Butter icing, and Cookies and Creme. The Boston Creme tasted nothing like Boston Creme. The Raspberry had a strong liqueur flavor that was overwhelming. The S'mores tasted nothing like S'mores. The Peanut Butter icing was mediocre at best (I guess there is no substitute for Grandma's recipe!). The Cookies & Creme had the best flavoring. The Double Chocolate was not far behind. Sadly, the flavors were not the worst thing. All of the cupcakes were extremely dry. I was not impressed in the least...and neither was the GF. The staff was extremely friendly though. They do have a nice selection of ice creams. I would be hesitant to purchase the cupcakes again. The quality did not justify the price. read more

Sprinkled Sweet is wonderfully charming! I love the outdoor serving window; it's fun for children and families--my daughter loved it. In addition to the lovely atmosphere, the sweets are good too. I cannot vouch for all products at this bakery, but out of three different desserts that I have tested, I am very disappointed. Nay, Disgusted. I have never had cake products that were so dry and difficult to eat. This company states that products are baked fresh daily, but do they actually throw out the unused products at the end of the day? I don't think so. Then they decide to charge over 4 dollars for a tiny sliver of the cake of the day that is void of any moisture and something akin to the texture of gravel. The Icing for the cupcakes and cake was fair but could not carry the sweet as a whole. The staff was friendly so I cannot complain about that.This was my first and last time visiting this establishment. For anyone else out there looking for a sweet treat, you will find a better taste and value in a box of Duncan Hines from your local grocer. read more
