The swimming area was small but very nicely arranged. The kids had a good time as well as the spectators!!!! It was a fun event!!!! The Porterville staffs and parents out there were very friendly. All of the kids were nice too. They even had a police officer out there watching the kidos and ensuring safety. It was very fun to hang out at this boys and girls waterpolo event.

Was quite surprised and somewhat insulted when my Freshman came home from school Monday…read more(11/09/2016) and informed me that his Basketball Coach had scheduled practice on "VETERAN'S DAY". I was not very happy, but due to my child's love of the sport, agreed he could attend practice after the parade. He then advised me that the parade and practice were overlapping times. Somewhat insulted was quickly taken over by a feeling of utter disregard for the men and women who have pledged to protect and preserve our freedoms. The coach is able to schedule practice when he feels it is necessary and has the right to do so because of the sacrifices and work of those, who knowingly, dared place a Bullseye on themselves ( the Uniform of any branch of The United States of America Military). I called and spoke with the Athletic Director; to whom I must apologize for forgetting his name. He informed me that he would speak with the coach and try to avoid this in the future. Hopefully this year was just an oversight by the coach. Also, I would like to thank the Basketball Coach for the time he puts in helping and teaching my child and many others not only how to win, but also about Sportsmanship. Thank you, Kim Wilson P.S.
