I like that it's a family owned business and it was Carlos's daughter who gave the estimate and answered my phone call. The only negative is that they left deep divots in the lawn where logs hit the ground, or equipment dug in. It will make mowing a challenge unless I get out with a shovel and rake (and I'm an 80 year old woman!). But I am willing to use them again because their prices are the best, and they're very nice to deal with.

Ultimately, I'd say go with him if you need trees taken down but don't really care if your yard is wrecked. Some details: The trees he took down were huge and one was right on the house. He did a great job taking them down but his guys just dropped the logs on the ground as the cut them off, leaving huge dents in my yard and breaking my irrigation system. To that effect he insisted on coming by to fix the pipe he knew he broke on his own. We were not keen on letting him play handy man with our irrigation system and called a professional to come out. Turns out there were multiple cracks in the line and the cost to fix was double what Carlos had offered us. I feel he may have known this would happen because he came to our house and demanded we pay him before we had time to get the irrigation lines assessed. As for the rest of the yard, between him and the contractor he hired to grind our stumps the lawn was covered in deep tire groves that we had to fill in with dirt and plant new grass seed in. This took us hours because we did it ourselves. To top it off, the stump grinder left huge mounds of shavings that we had to move. Our yard went from a flat level place to a motocross track with all the hills and valleys! Had we not spent hours filling and flattening there would have been no way to run a lawnmower over the grass when if finally grew back. All of this extra work was in place to save about $1500 from the next best quote.

They started at 7:30 and were done w/ the tree by 11 and done grinding the stump by around 11:15-11:30. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. I know there are only 8 reviews, but there's a reason they have a 5.0 rating.
