We were traveling on a Saturday to Az when our car broke down. We got our car into the shop but parts needed to be ordered, so we were stuck in town at least until Monday. I found this hotel on the Bonvoy App. Check in was super easy and friendly. I told her our story and let her know that we were hoping to be back on the road Monday. On Monday we asked for a late check out because our car was not going to be ready until late in the day. Without hesitation we were given a 4pm checkout. Unfortunately our car was not done on Monday so we had to stay another night. We were given a 4 pm checkout for Tuesday without having to ask. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was better than most similar hotels offerings. EVERY employee that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The bartender Andres (pretty sure that was his name) was awesome. He gave us a great recommendation for a nearby Mexican restaurant. We do stay in the area occasionally while traveling through and will absolutely stay here again read more

Conveniently located across the street from Magic Mountain. Plenty of parking and spots nearby to eat. As expected, rooms are clean and staff are friendly! It next to the freeway but the noise is minimal to none. The bar, seating, and pool area are also really nice if you want to escape from your room for a bit. The hotel is 6 minutes away from Six Flags with restaurants and fast food places surrounding it. The room itself was standard but nice. The location had a bar, free breakfast, game room, gym, laundry room, pool, and fire pits. Nice amenities and nice area. The parking fee is $10 per night and the hotel was worth the price tag. However the receptionist could use some hospitality training. They always made it feel like we were an inconvenience to them and when the hotel isn't the nicest, you would expect some kindness. Besides that we had a nice stay and Shannon. The shining star he is really wrapped up our experience. He was the only one to provide GOOD customer service while still attending the breakfast area. He checked up on us going absolutely above and beyond despite being busy. read more

Booked in error. Reached out to the hotel and was told it is not a problem to cancel my reservation. However, that was not the case! The third party i used said they would refund me if the hotel was ok with it. I called again to verify and again they confirmed it would be no issue. So this review is based purely on the reservation process. This does not reflect the food or room it self. So upon reserving this room I placed the room on a card that was locked intentionally so I could be sure no other charges go through on this card. I had intentions on unlocking the card once I arrived. At 3:55 pm I receive an email stating that my reservation had been cancelled due to the card being declined. I did not receive anything in the way of a phone call, text message, nothing! I decide to call and find out from the manager in house that my room was given away to someone else because they were full. I asked if they tried to call me and they said they don't do that, they just try to run the card 3 times and if it doesn't go through then they give away the room. I am surprised that they had not made any attempts to contact me. So I think this was just a way for them to give my room away for a higher price. That's all I can assume, since there was no attempt to reconcile the declined card. What a shame. I was looking forward to checking this place out. In any case, just beware that your card needs to be available to charge if you don't want your room given away to someone else. read more

SpringHill is the best. The staff is always cool but this staff was the coolest. They were having some type of guest appreciation party event and were serving free dinner for guests as well as free drinks! Absolutely unreal! Shoutout to the most beautiful lady at the front desk that gave me the best room ever. I believe her name was Chrissy? Bartender Andres says it's Kristy? Shoutout Andres. Anyway, epic one night stay. Nice group of hotels in an area that's a short five minute drive to Magic Mountain. There's three hotels brand here (Springhill, Residence, and Holiday Inn) that share a common lot and parking so it appears they're operated by the same franchisee. The hotel is new with lot of high end West Elm furniture. Lobby area is spacious and has bar but no on premise restaurant with plenty of chairs and dining tables (for their free breakfast). But, the staff here allow you to bring outside food and use their dining area. Marriot does try and promote the use of their app with a digital card key and app check-in but it wasn't working for me when I got there. Not a deal breaker as the staff here were friendly. The rooms are spacious with a living area and bedroom area separated by a tall desk stand. Mini fridge, microwaves, and coffee makers are standard, and the in-room A/C worked well (if you open the window, the A/C will shutoff). The bathroom vanity area was a bit cramped and the faucet had low water pressure. Our sink was clogged but a call to the front desk and few minutes later, they sent someone to fix it. Our room wasn't cleaned even though we didn't hang our "do not disturb" sign and after the cleaning person told us our room would be cleaned later in the afternoon. We ended up settling to just have them take out our garbage and give us fresh towels. There are some on premise entertainment including a pool and an outdoor fire place. Their game room has a ping pong and foosball table (you have to leave your ID in exchange for the ping pong paddle and foosball) but the game rooms A/C didn't work and after 30 minutes, it just got too hot. read more

I have been traveling during the pandemic as an essential worker and since the reopening of the economy, I have witnessed hospitality workers specifically in the hotel industry verbally abused during my check in experiences. I want to specifically address these two workers for handling such an incident with professionalism, as well as all hospitality workers! I stayed here for a visit with my daughter while we enjoyed sequential visits to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. It was nice to stay at a hotel close to the amusement park and not have to drive all the way back home since we were visiting the park multiple days. Now admittedly, I had a difficult time writing this review because there were really positive qualities along with some rather annoying attributes during my visit here. First let me start with the positive qualities. Upon entry at this hotel, one will immediately notice how well decorated it is here throughout the premises, especially in the hotel lobby and the dining area. In addition, careful attention to detail has also been made in the hallways and other guest areas. The hotel is also very clean throughout, so kudos to the cleaning staff! For their guests, this hotel provides almost everything you can imagine that you would want, and then more. All the staff members I interacted with while we were here were friendly and professional, from my initial check-in to my final checkout. Most importantly, this hotel met all of my primary requirements for staying at any hotel, including safety, cleanliness and quietness. And, the best part of my visit here was that we were able to stay here entirely for free because I'm a frequent guest/customer at Marriott hotels. I love free stuff! As mentioned earlier, unfortunately, there were also some annoying attributes I experienced during my stay here. First of all, it took me way too long just to figure out how to turn on the television and some of the lights in my room because part of the power in each room requires that you insert your room key in a special slot near the room entry that permits power. When someone has just checked into their room and they're tired, they really don't want to have to figure out these annoying things. Second, there was a small portion of the carpet that prevented the bathroom door in our room from properly closing because of a poor installation, and this carpet eventually ripped just so we were able to close the bathroom door. Third, there was a light fixture that was broken in our room, and it would have been nice to have light in that one part of our room. Fourth, I found the hotel room layout to be rather awkward with the placement of the office/work area, which is placed in an attempt to separate the "bedroom" area from the "living room" area. Finally, fifth, it was also rather annoying to find a small trail of ants in our hotel room, apparently looking for water in the bathroom because of the excessive summer heat outside. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential, and all the pictures I've posted will only show how nice it is here. However, there were also just too many annoying aspects I experienced while we were here that caused me to diminish what would have been a stellar rating for this business. read more

Upgrade. For 10+ years I was staying at the courtyard on new hall ranch right off the 5. I called it quits when I got tired of the mold in the bathtub. Glad I picked the springhill suites. You're greeted immediately by an updated lobby. The room was fresh and also up to date and clean. The gym is a significant upgrade from the Courtyard. Stayed here twice for one night each time, as a launching point to making the dreaded I-5 drive north. It's ok but would like to try some place else next point. Pros: - First floor rooms. After a week, I get tired of needling to take the hotel elevator. - Breakfast has options. There's cold brew, oat milk, granola bar, things that sound good but I didn't try. - New ish. Still smells good. - Convenient location near freeway. Cons: - In room AC is freezing and super loud. It's super cold in the bed next to the unit but ok temp far across the room. - Bathroom is located right in the middle of the room, so it's really difficult to not disturb the other half of the room's occupants who sleep early or sleep in. - Too much light in the room from the window and bathroom nightlight at night. - Shower spits water everywhere. - Small refrigerator was not cool at all. Absolutely recommend! Located near other hotels so make sure to go to the right place. Limited parking near entrance so you may want to drop off your bags. Several EV spots. The lobby is upgraded and beautiful. Check in process was quick & easy. Employee was extremely friendly (young man who is here for flight school - forgot his name). The King with sofa is good size. Includes microwave, small fridge. The fitness center is great: four treadmills, elliptical machines, weights, filtered water and towels. Very clean and well maintained. My only issue is that you can hear the doors slamming outside. Ask for a room on the upper floor and away from other guests if you are a light sleeper. My room wasn't available when I checked in, but I did accept the one available. Definitely recommend and will return. read more

This is the newest hotel in the area but it's built in a narrow flag lot which results in a narrow parking lot and it's steep in a hill as well I went in and asked for a luggage cart and she had me walk way back to elevators but there weren't any The hotel is double branded Residence Inn and Springhill Suites and allows dogs :-( There was a noisy dog barking in the elevator Dogs are dirty so we don't love this They had only medium roast coffee, none of the dark roast The woman at front desk had zero personality I was not thanked for being a platinum rewards member We are going to stay again in about 6 months just because this hotel costs less and the courtyard now also charges $10 a nite parking too and this one is free but I don't like staying here The room layout is awful with the bathroom being at the end of the bed with sliding glass doors to bathroom I think it's a design that saved space in floor plan but it's not one people like Shower is shorter than usual Rooms are pretty noisy and we heard a lot of highway traffic read more

Very clean, convenient location for Six Flags. Good amemities (pool), patio area with firepit tables (a little loud from I-5 frontage), good breakfast options, and a workout room. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Lovedcthe West Elm oversized sofa with trundle. There were a few exceptions: 1) HVAC is a wall unit (like an old Motel-style), which is extremely loud and blows directly on the person sleeping on the window side of the bed. It's a newer hotel, so I was surprised it had such old HVAC tech. . 2) The barn door to the bathroom didn't really provide much privacy. This isn't the first newer hotel with bathroom barn doors and not one of them have actually provided any privacy. Overall, it's a good hotel with a great location if you're Six Flags bound. read more

Wow this has to be the best hotel experience I've had! It was surprisingly a SpringHill! The location is convenient right by I-5 but it was a bit confusing to find but it all worked out. The front desk was friendly and the check in was fast and easy. When I got into my room, everything was clean and trendy. Charging outlets were everywhere and the bed was comfortable! I had the best sleep in my entire road trip from PS to SF! And on top of those, the breakfast was DELICIOUS with a large variety to choose from! Ex scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausages, potatoes, bagels, muffins, salsa, yogurt, milks, hot coffee and Even cold brew! I arrived late and AJ was the friendly associate who checked me in. I appreciated his pleasant demeanor and kindness. As a Marriott Bonvoy gold elite I got a free upgrade to a bigger room and it was perfectly nice and clean and suited my needs. The free breakfast was a standard selection of scrambled eggs, andouille sausage and turkey sausage, with some other cold items and your typical breakfast juices. This hotel is definitely a 10... We checked in super late with no problem and checked out an hour later which was a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and the room was clean and comfy. The couch/bed was awesome because my husband called that his home for the weekend. They are located on the other side of the freeway so not far from Six Flags. Ask about the trolley that drops off and picks up to and from six flags. The hotel amenities were on point from the pool to the game room to the fire pit. We can't wait to come back with our family. read more

This hotel was fine but not as nice as I expected. Our room had floor trim falling off, caulking completely crumbling, and door locks consistently malfunctioning. The rooms definitely need a little love. The breakfast was disappointing. All packaged food, nothing cooked fresh with exception of a few waffles. Maybe still Covid related but can we please get things back to normal? The pool was a little sad. No hot tub. We loved the bbq, fire pit area. I don't have a structure for hotels, but I have to write up this one and not sure how to organize it, so this is just going to be a list: The Room: 1) The bathroom doors are sliding doors with no lock! Some things we don't HAVE to copy from Europe. This is super annoying when you have kids who think it's fun to prank each other and whatnot. Plus, it's just weird. To add to it, the base of the door rests on the trim at the bottom and because of this, there is a crack in the door that you can see into (see picture below). Summary - You can peep in on people in the bathroom even if you don't open the door. 2) It's claimed to be a "suite" but there is no second room or partition. There is only 1 TV and it is hard to see either from the couch or the beds. Really bad layout of the room... 3) No wash cloth, no fan in the bathroom, no light in the walk in closet and the electric outlets on the bedside stand don't work (and yes I plugged it in AND put the key card in the holder by the door). 4) Shower head is crusty and the water spits out all over. Is it too much to ask that hotels change the shower heads every few years just to reduce the crustiness...? 5) Ice bucket was not cleaned so my wife didn't use it at all, instead she used a big cup we brought from home. Amenities: 6) No hot tub? I probably should've looked before booking but I honestly didn't think any place had a pool without a hot tub. 7) Ice chests on the 2nd and 4th floor only? So we were on the third floor and had to go all the way to the end of the floor, down the stairs and to the ice... I know this sounds like a first world problem... and you're right. But still... 8) Exit stairs lead to outside and you can't get back in at all from these doors, even with a key card. I like to take the stairs up and down (instead of the elevator) but not when I have to go all the way back around to the entrance to get upstairs. Summary: We had a horrible experience, again, with a Marriott hotel and this is why I have decided to ban them. Seriously. In short, I have stayed at Marriotts now a few times and the results: Strike 1) Marriott North Shore (Oahu, HI) - Cooking a pig in the lobby every night and the rooms got all Smokey and we could not open the windows in the room! Strike 2) Marriott Courtyard (Tacoma, WA) - Annoying buzzing in my room from the water pipes and couldn't change rooms because there were no others available. Strike 3) Marriott Courtyard (Hartford, CT) - Room smelled like cat piss. Colleagues room also smelled like cat piss. So I'm done with Marriott's because every time I stay at one, I have a bad experience. Please take note, Marriott owners!!! read more

The staff are not responsive to simple requests. They said they would call us when our room was ready to check in, waited in the car for a few hours, didn't hear anything and then decided to call and oh guess what, one came available. Asked for an extra pillow twice and didn't get one. They Just looked at me like I was asking for a new kidney. You have to put one key in a box on the wall in order for the electronics to work. So get an extra key or two people can't leave the room at the same time. AC was super loud out of nowhere in the middle of the night. We usually have a good experience at the Residence inns. We come to the area often to visit six flags. We have tried many hotels and this is our favorite. The rooms are very new modern clean and spacious. Especially if you have 4 in your group this is the place to. Stay. If I had to nit pick, I don't love the EV charger rates, $10 for just plugging in no matter how long you charge. The hotel is in a great location if your going for Six Flag/Hurricane Harbor. Room looks nice when you arrive. We stayed 3 nights & housekeepers did not clean our room during our ENTIRE stay!! We asked multiple times. I even found a housekeeper and asked myself. Still no service. There was 5 in our party. 2 adults & 3 kids. It was a hassle to get clean towels. We set our towels outside the door as we were asked. We had to ask 3 time throughout the entire day to get towels & they only brought us 2. With 2 teenagers our trash piled up quickly. I found my self having to clean the room daily & make our beds. If you just need a place to seep, this place would be perfect. It's quiet at night. But don't expect staff to be friendly or welcome. We felt like we were bothering them asking for towels. We will not stay here again. read more

If I may add Lora at the front desk , Morgan was very helpful also with our needsI just forgot to commend them last December 20, 2021 to January 6, 2022. Plus Morgan and AJ , Rutu and Jordyn were very helpful and nice every time we check in. We're staying in one of their Suites this time and they're are great. People at the cafeteria name Rickele and Donna during breakfast they're nice too. Shanon, the hotel manager , He is very very nice and cheerful in assisting us in the absence of Rickele, Dona, and Christian breakfast food is great, good to have Shanon in your hotel. The only issue is I don't know why dogs are allowed at the cafeteria and dining area and they're not even a service dog. That's it. read more

Music plsyed past 11pm and a staff member knocked on our dooe at 11:30pm waking the dog and us. We didn't order anything. Newer hotel, looks nice for a spring hill and large rooms. However, I checked in late at night and had to be up early so half way unpack and I'm their fresh white bathrooms I notice a blemish on the wall. Look closer and it's a huge bedbug. Start scanning the bathroom a bit more and find 3 other bed bugs. That was on the tile and walls so who knows what the bed or carpets looked like. Front desk was nice enough to get me a new room but zero compensation for making my 6 hours of sleep turn to five. Now I'm in a handicapped room (it's booked up so that's fine) but there are crumbs stuff all over the carpet. Need to beef up the cleaning- not easy with all that's going on but get with the program. Worst Marriott experience ever. Bring back SPG!!! read more

I'll start out by saying I've stayed at several Marriot owned hotels in Socal with no problems ever as I travel down here 2-3 times a week for work. I checked in the hotel @ 3:45 went to my room took a nap and left to go to dinner at 5. When I returned my room key wasn't working so I went to the front desk to ask why? Morgan who checked me in at 3:45 said that's weird who checked you in I said you did and she smiled I said what's going on? She began to tell me she never ran my card I said yes you did She said well it didn't go thru so I went on my credit card app and she charged my card 3 times and the card wasn't going thru anymore. She then explained she will move me to another room and to meet house keeping at my old room to grab my stuff. I went to the room sat in the hallway for 15 minutes and called marriot corporate and explain what's going on. After 25 minutes Morgan comes down the hall with my luggage on a cart saying my stuff was already moved. I'll admit I got angry but when I pulled out a bank bag from my suitcase with my companys $10k with receipts I said do you understand why I'm mad she began to cry. I was also on the phone with corporate at the same time they heard everything and said call the police if anything is missing. Being an honest person I counted the money and everything was there but the fact they pretty much burglarized my room while I was gone for 1.5 hours is kinda scary. Beware of this place I have everything on video as well and am waiting for a call back from the head boss as nobody can tell me how or why my stuff was removed from my room read more

Booked a room through Expedia. I checked in to ensure the hotel knew we would check in late. Between 8-9pm. After a long day of work and driving over 3 hrs we arrived around 845p. Only to be told the room we reserved was sold out. We're a family of 4 and they offered the room with a king bed and sofa bed, of which I didn't reserve knowing it wouldn't work for us. I asked if the alternate room would be comped and he offered us a $10 discount. I refused as if I'm going to pay, I wanted a room to accommodate us. I asked for a manager and he said no one was available. I was frantically looking for another place to stay but we were tired and just wanted to relax. He agreed to take $50 off the room. Very frustrating to show up w/o a room reserved. And low and behold, pending with my bank is the full charge for the room. This place is awful! read more
