There's a simple, but fresh and hot breakfast in the morning that gets me fueled up. The coffee is decent... it'll curl your hair. Room was clean and bless that air conditioning. It hums a bit, so if sound bothers you... but I like the white noise. It's a quiet hotel, and the cleaning crew is fairly quiet when they go about their work. Staff is friendly, and there are copies of the Wall Street Journal and USA Today at the front desk. I love having a paper to read in the evening before I go to bed. Mini fridge, microwave, a small kitchen style sink in the kitchenette, and the water pressure is great. Plenty of lighting, lots of power outlets for all the chargers/devices you're likely to carry with you. There's plenty of parking, and it's close to a good selection of places to eat, as well as shopping. I don't know the name of the little lady who greeted me on Wednesday morning during breakfast, but she was friendly and had a fantastic smile. It sent me on my way in a pleasant mood. Convenient location to where I needed to be but that's where the good stopped. We checked in no thank you for being a platinum member. No thank you for being staying in our hotel. Nothing just here's your room key as I get to the elevator there's a key hanging out of the elevator lockbox so I walked over and asked the lady why is there a key here? She said well it's broken. We have to leave the key in it and I said so what happens if somebody takes that key while that elevator is in mid Road oh, it will stop ,that was comforting to me!!!! as we got up to the floor where our room was the fifth floor there was a loud noise and it was coming from the fire alarms, the fire bells both both of them on the on our floor we're going off they're muted so I went back downstairs and said hey why are the fire alarms going off? She said oh there's a bad ground wire now I'm an Electrician of sorts and I know that a bad ground wire won't do this. This is a problem with the system. They couldn't assure me that it was gonna work if there was a fire. then we get to the room elevator's really slow since there's only one and there was a whole bunch of kids here from a college. fire alarms. We're still troubling to me. We got up to the room, not the cleanest room I've ever been in matter fact it's pretty well worn and not not real clean. Problem was the middle of the night. The toilet started running and it ran violently all night long so needless to say this hasn't been a good experience. This is the trashiest hotel. I've stayed in the least maintenance of place I've ever seen. I see all the reviews praising the staff. The staff was unremarkable to me that doesn't mean they weren't nice to somebody else. They just weren't very concerned about anything well sure we have some maintenance going on. Oh, how long is the maintenance been going on ma'am? it's been going on a long time those fire alarms been doing that for a while. That's UNSAT. The guy at the front desk was clearly high, reeking of weed, sloppy, and couldn't care less. Zero professionalism, zero accountability, just a scam operation taking people's money. It was decent, but definitely needs a deep clean and a lot of repairs/remodel. Pros Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly Cons -Bathroom floors and baseboards were dirty, shower was moldy. Shampoo/conditioner bottles constantly fell off the walls. -bathroom was terrible. The door was too big, so you had to stand in the shower to close it. -to turn the shower on, you had the reach in and be sprayed with ice cold water -carpet was sticky in places and was torn -Couch cushions were thin and flimsy -most outlets didn't work -Lightbulbs burned out - towels were not soft and were tiny -only one small trash can. Everyone put trash out in halls. -we were there for 3 nights and room was never cleaned or trash emptied -room keys quit working and had to be replaced twice -Exterior doors on either end were never locked -pool has no key card, anyone could get in -pool was pretty dirty and needs new paint/re-plaster -At checkout we were told about a survey we would receive in an email. The employee said we would be given 500 points for scoring them a 10. Will not be staying there again. read more

The designer of this building must have been out sick because this hotel had the most dysfunctional bathroom layout. The bathroom shower in our room only opened on the end where the shower head points directly at you. Turning on the shower meant spraying cold water all over you. The hot and cold sides were installed backwards too. That was some extra fun. The bathroom was tiny compared to the size of the room. I could barely open the door to get out of the bathroom unless I was practically hugging the side of the toilet. Definitely not user friendly for the average sized American here...it's burgers and BBQ land, just saying. The lighting was terrible, and our corner room only had one window. What's the point of a corner room? The heater was also inconsistent. And what was going on with the pool?? This was the worst looking pool water I've seen in a functioning hotel. Completely green with algae growth and a hose dangling in the pool also covered in algae. Check out my photo. I'm willing to overlook the design of the hotel since management can't change that. But the condition of the pool? Unacceptable. There were some pros: the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the front desk service was very nice. I usually like Springhill Suites as they have simple, modern hotels at a good price. This location was an outlier. read more

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! THEY CANCELLED MY RESERVATION AFTER CHECKIN BEFORE ARRIVAL on a weekend when hotels were very scarce due to it being Oklahoma State University Homecoming. Over 70,000 alumni and family were coming to this weekend celebration so I made the reservation months ago for 2 rooms for four of my family members. They sent an email AFTER I CHECKED-IN on the Marriott App, stating, "Due to our occupancy level we are sold out of our King Suite, and have canceled 2 of your upcoming bookings at no charge. We are sorry for this inconvenience." I called and the service rep was incredibly rude said they were short on Housekeeping and could not clean the empty rooms. Not his problem. This is BS! I am a Marriott TITANIUM MEMBER and am incredibly loyal to Marriott all over the world, so expect better service. Hotels are booked many months in advance for these busy weekends, and many typically triple their prices. Maybe they gave my rooms to the highest bidder! We finally found a non-Marriott hotel 90 minutes away at a higher price. read more

I stayed two nights in this hotel. A big disappointment for a Marriott property. We could never get the room cool. Towels were equivalent to what you get at a Motel 6. Ever since the pandemic, I continue to see less quality everywhere and this hotel property disappoints. I am a frequent visitor to this part of Oklahoma City/Edmond. No A/C in the lobby, hallways or the one working elevator. It's 90 something degrees outside today. Our extended stay room hadn't been vacuumed or dusted, the shower was full of hair as were the sheets on both beds. The pool isn't open either despite advertising access to a pool when making the reservation and by the looks of it won't be open anytime soon. Called the front desk to address the filth and was told they would move us to another room and take $10 off our total. Packed up all our stuff and moved down a floor only to find that room hadn't been cleaned either. Literally had to go get our own bed linens and make them ourselves at 10:30PM just to get some sleep after a long drive and full day. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. The person checking me in at night was great and very personable. However when I got to my room... things didn't look so hot. There is no blanket on the bed or pillows, the pillows were scattered on the sofa with no pillow cases on (I had to do that). Overall it was fairly clean other than that. The website states that they have foam or feather pillows, but when I asked about it in the morning... the staff at the counter laughed at me and said "no we don't have those, the website also says we take pets, and we don't" and then dismissed me. I came back my second day and the room wasn't cleaned or made up at all. I have 3 more days left, so we shall see if it gets better. read more

This place is a shiphole that should be avoided. There were so many issues that I'm sure I will miss some but here are the highlights. First, while checking in water was dripping onto the floor in the lobby. A/C was not working in the lobby, meeting rooms or elevators. Cracks in tile and walls. Design of bathrooms was ridiculous, you had to get into shower in order to turn on the shower thus getting soaked with cold water before temperature could adjust. No maid service on Sunday unless you request it, is that normal? Ran out of Kleenex and toilet paper, went to front desk and was told they had run out. Had to go buy our own. Elevators weren't working properly, it was hit or miss on moving or not. Doors kept opening and closing on their own. Microwave turntable was missing. Aww - sad that this is the first review for this hotel. Without too much further delay: Location: 3 out of 5 This place isn't ultra convenient if you're flying into OKC, but if you have friends and family that live to the north, it's in a pretty convenient location. Be aware that Memorial is not a toll road, but instead it runs parallel to it. Depending on where you're coming from, you may have to cross the toll road, and take a left, as either side of Memorial are 1 way at this point. Honestly though, it isn't that tough to figure out. Amenities: 4 out of 5 Nothing to complain about here. The suite we had contained everything that we needed and then some. The added bonuses I guess are the microwave and the mini fridge. It's not complete "suite-esque" as there was no full kitchenette and no dividing walls or doors in the living area, but no real complaints. There is a "living room" feel with a couch and one wing chair in the suite. Please do check out the daily hot breakfast, though. By no means is it gourmet, but along with the traditional continental breakfast items there are breakfast patties, eggs with cheese in them, oatmeal, and waffles. Of course, there is also yogurt, milk, cereal, etc. There is outdoor parking on premises at no charge. Service: 4 out of 5 No complaints here - everyone was friendly and kind, and the breakfast staff was quick to refill items that had dwindled down in numbers. Pricing: 5 out of 5 I PL'ed the price, so I can't really complain. Not sure what full retail rates are, but for ~50 bucks a night, I was very satisfied with the experience. I drove 19 hours to get here. I checked in and was informed they had me in a handicapped room, not a big deal. I entered the room and it felt kind of dirty. Once I began looking around, there were still used bars of soap and garbage in the room. The bathroom was very gross and the toilet obviously hadn't been cleaned. I immediately went down to the front desk and asked for another room. The gentle man working was very pleasant, apologetic, and accommodating (I believe his name was Cameron). I moved to another room and it was better, but not much. I was booked there for 2 weeks, after 2 days I checked out and moved to another hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels and typically Springhill Suites are very good, this one was a disappointment. read more

We thought any lodging under the Marriot parent company would be a no-brainer and we were confident it would be great. It wasn't even acceptable. When we arrived we found our room was very hot, so we decreased the temperature on the a/c right away. It never did cool down very much. The biggest issue is we found leaks in the room. One leak was from above and hitting the carpet at one corner of the bed. The bigger problem was a leak in the bathroom that dripped persistently from the light/fan directly over the toilet. We immediately called the front desk because we thought they would want to know so they could change our room and mitigate the damage, but nobody answered after allowing the phone to ring repeatedly. In the morning when we notified the manager, she was ineffective and without concern for our stay, the damage to the property, or the fact that the staff was unavailable. To make matters even more inconvenient -- all ice machines on EVERY floor were out of order. They gave us a bucket of ice from the kitchen. Also, there were two elevators and one was out of order the entire time we were there. Considering the inconvenience of a very wet room, I think they should have refunded our room cost, but they did not. The customer service was poor and the entire experience was far outside the scope of what I expect from Marriott. read more

What a nightmare to stay here. My boyfriend and I came down for a concert and decided to stay here. They told us all they had left was a handicap king room... ok fine. We get to our room and shower up and after showering I start looking at the shower head and there are pubic hairs all in the spray nozzle. So we've showered in someone's pubes. Awesome. We left and came back and when we got back to our room the lock had broken. We were not able to get our belongings until the following day when they literally busted the door down. No compensation for all the inconvenience of showering in another purses pubes and keeping us locked out of our rooms with ALL our belongings until the following day at checkout. Terrible experience!!! The first room had a broken shower. The second room has wallpaper falling off. The front lobby has huge box fans everywhere because the AC is broken. I haven't seen a repair man all weekend. The front desk is rude. I've never experienced such a terrible hotel. @Marriott this is a major brand detractor!!! As a follow up, I worked with corporate @Marriott and I was told they would stand by their hotel and the management. I partnered with upper management at the hotel and they did nothing to satisfy us - they didn't even offer a solution. As consumers, we vote with our dollar. The staff was very friendly and easy to check in. Two main issues were that you could not set the temperature so I had to get up and down all night turning the heat on and off, and the bathroom! It was so small you got sprayed with cold water when turning on the shower because you had nowhere to go to get out of the way and the fan was extremely loud. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything but it wasn't to bad. The breakfast was great for a complimentary bar. Probably won't stay here again on my monthly visits. read more

I have taken a few days to cool off before writing this review, because I was/still am angry. I made reservations to stay at this property, I was excited because Marriott is generally known for exceptional quality....they missed this one! I called the property to let them know I would be arriving late, the man on the line cut me off and said," ma'am don't worry, your room is good." Fast forward to 1am, we arrive at the property 3 sleeping children in tow. I was met by the front desk attendant telling me they were sold out, but did have one adjoining room left. He told me to go up and look at it, so I did thinking we might be able to make it work. I walked into a dirty room with what looked like apricot pits and popcorn kernels on the floor...it was bizarre. I told the attendant that it was dirty and he said he would call the manager. While waiting 45 minutes I saw a plethora of very drunk individuals, no one wearing masks, it was a mess. The front desk clerk called another property down the road which was double the cost, but I didn't think it was fair that I pay more for their mistake. So, at 2am I called around and found a more expensive hotel And had to eat the cost. I am a frequent traveler for work and pleasure and joined Bonvoy...I will NEVER patronize this chain again and have full intentions of calling corporate! read more

Complaint to let you know about the service given today at the Marriott located at 3201 W. Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK. 1. My daughter XXXXX XXXXXXX reserved a room for two nights at this location. When she arrived she was told her room was cancelled. She advised the staff she had not cancelled the room. After long deliberation the staff person stated no Underwood had called and cancelled the room. This lends me to believe someone on the staff made an error. They would not fix the issue and even went as far as to be rude and condescending to her. This was in my presence. I will go on to mention my daughter is in the latter stages of pregnancy and had driven 10 hours to get to this location. 2. When I made an attempt to obtain the email address of someone I could complain to the staff member, male, not manager became confrontational/ rude with me and did not handle the situation in a professional manner. Marriott, I just left your Arkansas location to check in to this OKC location. I left a horrible review for the AR one and had lost some faith in Marriott BUT the OKC location definitely restored my love for Marriott once again. First of all, this one is immaculately clean. I loved my room - you added small special touches that made it really feel homely. I loved the Wednesday social hour - that was definitely a plus. It was nice to come back at the end of the day for some food and wine/beer compliment of Marriott. The breakfast is warm and yummy. The staff here is awesome but I would like to especially mention the lady that attends to the food area. I spoke with her every morning and realize now that I never asked for her name. Anyways, she was so warm and so nice and it was my pleasure to have a small conversation with her to start the day. She would always ask how I'm doing and to make sure I have a wonderful day - she'll say don't try! One morning, I overheard a guest that was so excited and happy to run into her again that I was amazed to hear a guest feel about staff that way. Nonetheless, she is an asset at this Marriott - Marriott, you need to pay special attention to this lady!! read more

First off their a/c was down or something in the lobby making it uncomfortably hot! Second, when I tried to check in I was told that the room I booked (double 2 room suite) was unavailable so we (2 adults 3 kids) were booked into 2 separate king rooms on each side of the elevators. I'll admit it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be but still we were separated. Third, once we got to our rooms I noticed that the door handle in our room made it difficult to open the door. Idk how to explain it other than you had to force the handle down hard. Also our toilet kept running and that was kind of annoying. Oh and wifi, slow! Fourth, their breakfast kind of sucked. I'm a person whose kind of ok with boxed food but come on, no one likes watery scrambled eggs. Also don't forget, their a/c wasn't on/working in the lobby making the breakfast area pretty warm. Good reviews of the hotel. Parking wasn't bad and the pool area also not bad. I've stayed at the Springhill Suited at the Moore location. We enjoyed our stay at that location and and was really looking forward to another stay at Springhill. Sadly our stay at the Springhill memorial location was not that great! read more

A very convenient location, and extra spacious rooms. Bed is superb. However, the decor and colors are as dated as they were a couple years ago, the updates didn't include a paint and carpet scheme change. Very reminiscent of mid-1970s earthtones. Additionally, water pressure is weak, and the doors do not close quietly. In fact, they close louder than any other doors I've ever experienced outside of a budget motel. This can be a problem at 2 in the morning when someone comes in and decides to slam the door. Finally, the location, while convenient, is still right next to the turnpike and if you were on the south side of the building, traffic noise becomes intrusive at around 5 to 6 a.m. Also, while the updates modernized the bathroom area, the lighting is weak. Finally, during check-in, no one was present at the desk for over 5 minutes. Numerous people were waiting to check in, with a business meeting taking place at the hotel. read more

Nice clean hotel but. If they give you a room by the elevators , ask for another room further away, will keep you up all night. They must do better on their breakfast, absolutely horrible. Almost went next door to the Holiday Inn to eat instead. On my last day they only had scrambled eggs and nothing else hot. Room windows need to be able to block out the lights at night, the shear curtains just don't do the trick. this will be my last stay at that particular hotel read more

They have a discount for people who are there because family is at a nearby hospital. They asked why we were in town and when I told them for my mother at the hospital, they gave a big discount even though we did know about it or ask for it. read more

We came here knowing construction was being done. Thus cheaper rates. We had a very nice suite. Had a really nice breakfast area and buffet.(typical hotel breakfast waffle maker, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit,bagels,juice and coffee) 6-9 on weekdays and 6-9:30 on weekends. We stayed 3 nights very comfortable. Only issue was construction noise started at 7:15am!! Really? You said 10am on your signs!! And construction guys used the same elevator as customers. Needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and thought this place would do the trick. Checked in quickly, then up to the room. Once we entered, the smell of mold over took us and noticed mold growing on one wall. The front desk quickly gave use another room, upon entering room it just didnt feel very clean and again noticed more mold in the bathroom. Knowing nothing about this hotel other than Spring Hill Suites are supposed to be the nicer hotels in the Marriott brand, I made the mistake of booking a room here via Marriott app. We literally tried 3 rooms within a half hour before saying, no thanks, we are not staying here. I should have known since the rate was about 20% less than other Marriotts in the area. The first room's bed had multiple obvious stains on the sheets as if it had not been changed. Room #2 had an A/C unit that was not working. Room # 3 had 2 queen beds...I told the "space cadet" front desk guy that we only wanted a room with a king bed (it's our anniversary). This hotel is stuck in 1996 and is in need of a major renovation/overhaul. We ended up staying at the Quail Springs Courtyard just down the road...another interesting experience and a must read. read more

We only had warm/hot water ONCE during the entire weekend that we stayed. It is impossible to not get wet when starting the shower because you can only enter/exit one way because the shower head is pointed straight at you. You would have to step in the shower completely and turn it sideways before turning on the water (if you get warm/hot water). The front desk doesn't answer phone and that is probably because they are SLEEPING IN THE LOBBY if they don't have any work to do (the concierge was literally sleeping in the lobby/dining area when I walked in for the first time). The food was so-so...I would have paid to eat elsewhere. Don't expect any words from the concierge upon leaving (no Thank you for your business/staying with us or Have a good day....absolutely nothing) the property even if you are checking out. Save yourself the time, money and disappointment by staying at one of the other hotels that are literally feet away/walking distance from this hotel. read more

The rooms were ok. Spacious and comfortable beds. However, the lobby and the 1st floor in general is a catastrophe. The AC has been out for a while apparently and hasn't been taken care of yet and it's summer now. There are water stains on the ceiling and it smells like mold or sweat as you walk towards the back doors. We had an event in the meeting room that was awful due to the lack of AC. You're better off staying at one of the other hotels nearby. read more

We were in Oklahoma City for an emergency and my sister's husband was undergoing emergency heart surgery at the heart hospital down the street. An employee went above and beyond helping my family, and I will never forget it. To tell you the truth, I don't know if he was even aware of our emergency--I honestly think he is just a great employee. My mom and sister had to be at the hospital by 6am the day of the surgery and he put together a breakfast plate for them to take with them since the buffet was not open yet. He stored a car seat and stroller behind the desk for me because I was taking care of my sister's 3 small children while she and my mom were at the hospital. When I took the kids down for breakfast, he was joking with the kids and introduced them to putting chocolate chips in the waffle mix, which just made their morning. My mom and I flew in hurriedly and checked in very late and he was very friendly and helpful even though we were very frazzled from our last-minute flight and the stress of the situation. He helped me get another room for my sister so she could be close to the hospital. Great breakfast buffet also. read more
