Anyway, this hotel is billed as a 3 star class hotel and it's definitely that. The lobby and common area were pleasant and all 3 staff members we dealt with were nice enough. Parking was plentiful. The rooms are pretty good. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the decor relatively new and everything was clean, even the air vents which I always look at when I arrive to a hotel. The shower was pretty good, the water was piping hot and they gave us tons of towels which I liked. Also wanted to mention their complimentary breakfast which was decent quality and included custom omelettes. On the downside, we had 3 people on the reservation and there wasn't any bedding for the sofa bed. I made 2 advanced requests for extra pillows and blankets for my kids, once with my reservation and another time via chat in the app before we arrived. Upon arrival I also asked if there was bedding in the room as I requested and I was told that there would be in the storage unit under the living room TV. When I got to the room I was surprised to see there was no storage unit under the TV, it was mounted on a wall with nothing under it. There was also no bedding in any of the storage units nor the closet. I went back down and was able to get everything however it was a bit of a waste of my time after all the effort I had made and a pain because I just wanted to go to bed as quickly as possible. I also want to mention that the floors in the common area, the lobby, the restaurant area and the elevator were either, wet, sticky and/or dirty, and the glass on the front doors and in the elevator were also covered in smudges. We did arrive at 6:00 on a Friday so maybe the cleaning crew had gone home, but it looked like it had been neglected for a little bit of time and wasn't a pleasant visual. All in all I would give this place three and a half stars rounded up to four because we did have a pleasant stay. I would probably stay here again if I had to visit the area in the future.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA…read more I initially contacted Expedia to cancel my hotel reservation after realizing that the hotel was significantly farther from my destination than your website had led me to believe. I was informed by an Expedia representative that although I was past the cancellation deadline, I could request hotel approval and would only be charged one night's stay. Following this advice, I contacted the hotel directly. The hotel manager informed me that because the booking was made through a third-party service, they were unable to cancel the reservation and instructed me to contact Expedia again. I did so, and Expedia reached out to the hotel on my behalf. Despite these steps and the assurance I received from your representative, I was ultimately charged over $500 for the full stay, even though I did not stay at the hotel at all. This directly contradicts what was communicated to me during my initial call with Expedia. I later received a $50 credit toward a future booking, which does not adequately address being charged in full for a stay I never used, nor the incorrect information I was given by customer service. I am requesting a review of this case and a refund consistent with what was originally explained to me, or at minimum a reasonable adjustment to reflect that I did not stay at the property. Unfortunately, I was pass the cancellation date and didn't mind pay for one night as originally agreed to with a representative

We interacted with Jalyn in person, and Stefan via text at the front desk. Both were very personable and professional. We brought our two cats with us on the trip, and there is a $75 pet fee which was a lot lower than other hotels we looked at. They also allowed two pets per room, when other properties only allowed one. That was our main reason for picking this hotel. The beds were super comfy (we were in a King Size room), the lobby was well maintained with fruit infused water and great coffee (with little flavored creamer pods, which I appreciated). After the great check-in process with Jalyn, we headed to our room to get our cats settled. In the first room we were in (201), we noticed a weird sticky liquid leaking onto the carpet from the air conditioning unit. Since we didn't know what it was (condensation or Freon or what). we didn't want to chance it with our cats in the room (possibly licking it) if it was a chemical. We called down to the front desk to voice our concerns, and they were very apologetic and completely understood our concerns. They moved us to another room (222), with the same layout and bed size and everything. This new room did not have the leaking air unit but it did have its own issues. The box spring was torn under the bed so our cats were getting into it (and again, we weren't sure of the safety of that, if there are nails or splinters inside there). After they kept getting in there no matter what we did to block it, we stopped by the front desk to ask for a stapler to reattach the boxspring fabric ourselves. They did house a lot of displaced folks during a recent hurricane (which is awesome of them), along with their pets so maybe another mischievous little guy did that boxspring damage. The other issue we had was that the toilet would clog very easily with the smallest amount of toilet paper. We got a plunger from the front desk to try to fix that problem, but it seemed like it was definitely a plumbing issue that should be looked at. And on the last night, while trying to get some sleep for a super early flight the next day, I saw my two cats both freaking out and chasing something. It was a large bug coming out of the bathroom that then scurried into the front closet. It was either a roach or a palmetto bug, but whatever it was, it was not a nice sight to see and I did not get a wink of sleep after that. At 4am, I tried to make the coffee in the room's little kitchen area, but the coffee maker was the kind that took coffee pods and the little basket of coffee items only had packets of coffee grounds, not pods. Another letdown, for this tired girl. Overall, the hotel's main areas are pretty nice, the staff members we interacted with were amazing, but the rooms (the most important part) left a few things to be desired, unfortunately.

The lobby is nicely decorated with secluded seating areas, work spaces, conversational areas and a lovely 3 sided fireplace. The rooms are well appointed and clean as a whistle. I have to extend a special shout out to the front desk employee, Anna. Every time my family saw her, she was super sweet, very nice and accommodating to my family and I'm sure to everyone who crosses her path. The gym, pool, outdoor fire pit and breakfast amenities are on point, well kept, immaculate at all times. The staff that flips and supplies the rooms were professional and on time. The breakfast area is immaculate and the morning staff keep it clean and freshly supplied. This hotel is a great stay with SOOOO many stores and restaurants in the same parking lot!! I walked for an hour each morning and still didn't walk the entire retail area in the Gulf Coast Town Center. It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel shares a parking lot directly across from each other with a Marriott Courtyard and you can use the amenities at either. That was pretty cool. We were comfortable at this hotel. Shout out for the great customer service focus as well as to the attention to detail in maintaining a level of excellence in all areas.

The day of departure there was a freak flash flood over the Fort Lauderdale airport causing us to have to cancel the entire trip. The hotel knew about the incident as it was all over the news and they allowed me to cancel my reservation within hours of check in! We tried flying out of every airport in Florida to get to Nashville and it just was not happening. I was prepared to move the entire trip to another date to not lose the money, but they were understanding and were able to cancel my reservation. Based on their customer service alone, I knew I would be rebooking with them again. I am happy to say I am rebooked with them in Nashville in a couple months I actually did stay at the Fort Myers location for a concert a few months ago. Once again, picked this hotel based on the above and the Kickback hour I kept reading reviews about. PLUS they are dog friendly at ALL hotels for a fee, so I was able to bring my pup! The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming. The kickback is true and does exist lol. Each day from 5:30-7pm you get 3 alcoholic drink tickets per person along with an arrangement of light bites. It's a limited variety of alcohol, but hey it's free! They had bud light, an IPA, and a white wine. A hot breakfast is included as well! They room was clean and for the price and what is included, it's a no brainer to stay here. Especially with traveling, eating out 3 times a day can be very expensive and also filing, so this is a perfect alternative.
