We didn't choose this school - when we moved here mid-year it was the nearest one that had space for my children. I hoped for the best and that's what I got. The teaching has been great. Some things that weren't as good as they could be about my child's work (in maths for example) were brought to my attention so that I could work with the school to support my child. The fact that the school and parents worked together made it work. The children all have FUN. The school is a happy place. They own an allottment and they have some chickens. They have just had an extension built for drama and music which is something they shine at. The headmaster was teacher there before. He is always around to speak to and knows all the children and parents well. The 'lady in the office' is a real star too. The children say the school dinners are gorgeous. What's not to like? The only thing we didn't like was that it is a very long walk from home. read more
