We got artichoke spinach dip, the tortellini with spicy Italian sausage added, the other pasta with sun-dried tomato and mushroom, and some pizzas for the kids. Everybody loved their food and the service was outstanding. The one thing that I feel like really brings the place down is the free bread. Not that they have it, because everybody likes that. But they appear to be Rhodes rolls served in a puddle of olive oil. I'm always excited for Italian bread and Thai was a disappointment, especially after how good the rest of the food was. I would also like to see mild Italian sausage as an option. The spicy was good but it was a sensitive stomach day for me and it was irritated by the spicy. I realize I could have not gotten sausage at all but I'd love a mild Italian option. The artichoke spinach dip was delicious and was served with the perfect amount of crusty bread. Even the little kids asked for more. The pastas were perfectly sauced and flavored. I didn't find them to be skimpy on sauce or toppings. A very nice balance of flavor. The shaved Asiago (or Parmesan?) was a lovely touch too. I love real cheese! I didn't personally try the pizza because I was too full from the pasta, but my husband and the kids loved it and it appeared perfectly cooked and house made.

Server - server experiences have been hit or miss. My biggest grape with service is no one seems to remember that kids are free on tuesdays with an adult entree. The last three times we've gone they've had to correct this and then we sit and they have to do it and it takes ten extra minutes and the children at this point are now fussy Food - not all the dishes are winners, but everything i've ordered. I've generally really enjoyed. I would recommend the specials in general if you can find them, or they are advertising them, usually it's something special and limited. In general, this place is good and I would recommend it they also have a lot of great lunch specials.

I visited here for an event and we sat in the banquet room. The employees served the group, but we…read morewere able to grab our own desserts. The entree consisted of chicken parmeseana, alfredo with penne pasta (no protein) and shrimp fusili (or possibly a rotini), and breadsticks. They offered 3 different types of cheesecake: vanilla bean, strawberry and turtle. The shrimp fusili was a warm dish, while the alfredo was room temperature. Only the chicken parmesean was heated properly upon serving. The best tasting entree was the parmesean, while the shrimp dish barely had any shrimp and they were all overcooked anyway. The alfredo was the worst dish. Breadsticks were good though. I tried the vanilla bean cheesecake, although it tasted just like a plain cheesecake. I also tried the turtle cheesecake which was the best. All choices had an oreo crust and they tasted homemade. The servers were fairly friendly, but one instance when a tablemate asked for hot tea, they brought an iced tea...she then asked again and the woman server was quick to say in an elevated voice we don't have hot tea. Overall, the food was okay but I can't say I tried anything delicious that would make me want to return on my own one day.

Finally back to attending the Yelp events!…read more I have been to Sweetgreens before, I like it so was really excited to learn of one more in Woodlands. This one's located in the Market Street, a great place with some really upscale shopping stores like Hermann Miller, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc. Being vegetarian we got the Hummus Crunch and the Guacamole Greens without the chicken in it - for togo. The girl at the counter was super sweet and really fast. She was soo well trained she made both salads at the same time not looking up the ingredients even once, that was verry impressive. She gave us the hummus and the salad dressing on the side so it won't get soggy by the time we ate.  The salads were crunchy with just the right amount of proteins and greens. The standard they maintain in keeping the ingredients fresh still continues without compromise. They actually have the fresh vegetables displayed neatly in the background of the cooking station.  The drinks complemented the food very well and went down nice and cold.  There is plenty of parking and unlike Rice Village its free.  While we were there, a huge lunch crowd kept pouring in either for a to go or a dine in. Its pretty popular and definitely worth a try - am sure you will keep returning, like I do.  Thank you Sweetgreens and Yelp for organizing this event.

I came on a Saturday afternoon without realize how busy this shopping center gets. Parking took some time and I ended up having to park in the HEB parking lot. Not sure if that's allowed but my car was there when I came out so thumbs up. There was a steady line inside Sweetgreen that could have moved faster if they had another employee working the line. There was only two girls working. The girl that was serving me was very friendly and walked me thru my options. I decided to try the caramelized garlic steak bowl. This comes with sweet potatoes, spicy broccoli, tomatoes, wild rice and a pesto vinaigrette. As this sounds good, the flavors didn't really come together. I think the issue I had with this dish was everything was different temperatures. The steak was room temp and didn't have any hit of garlic. The wild rice tasted old and was crunchy. The sweet potatoes were hot, like freshly made. The spicy broccoli was refrigerator cold. Then the tomatoes were room temp. Not sure if this was suppose to be a hot or cold bowl. I might give this place another try but not anytime soon.

We also have a book-signing while there, for anyone who would like the book I wrote titled, "My Story - My Life" - Anecdotes & Amusements. Shannon is our server, and we started off with waters and their Garlic Bread, which is very Garlickylicious with lots of Garlic. This Garlic Bread makes your mouth drool as you enjoy each bite, then lick your fingers after eating just one piece - that Garlic is delicious. Then you go back for more, licking your fingers after each one you devour. I just made my mouth drool a little. We visited with Matt and Shannon for a while. Then we ordered their "STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS"; Mushrooms stuffed with Spinach, Italian Cheeses & Crawfish topped with melted Mozzarella. We LOVE this dish, and it always comes out perfectly baked with a lot of Stretchy Mozzarella and some Mighty Tasty Mushrooms. I also ordered their House Salad with House Italian Dressing. My salad and the STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS were served at the same time, and my Wife and I started in on those Mushrooms. This Cheese does stretch way up high, like you need a pair of scissors because it's hard to break; it just keeps wrapping around and around. But that's okay because you just get more to enjoy. These STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS are one of the favorites enjoyed by Lasagna House, and once you try it, you know why. Right when Lasagna House opened for lunch, there were lots of customers coming in to eat and also picking up To-Go orders. This place is busy. There is also some soft background music playing, creating a very relaxing, comfy atmosphere while you are enjoying some of the finest Italianliciousness around. Shannon and Matt earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and will keep it with the others they were awarded. All the Staff at Lasagna House-1960 are the Best at what they do, and they do it very well. Check out Lasagna House-1960, - Whatever you order will make your mouth drool, and they do provide you with large napkins. We were there for a couple of hours enjoying the music, Italianliciousness, Matt and the Staff before leaving for the Hotel

(Sorry for the late post)…read more Seems the Elite Weeks have centered on ice cream recently. No compliants on that! Creamistry is focused on liquid nitrogen ice cream with emphasis on fancy designs/toppings/themes that makes for a decadent treat when in the mood for sweets. I opted for the quantum coffee, while my two kids in tow chose strawberry and cookies and cream. I took a parent test of each and both were delicious but the fresh strawberries were by far a favorite. The coffee ice cream was bold (they offer affogatos which definitely caught my eye for the next visit being a coffee lover). We always do a melt test and can say that the ice cream holds up well eating it outside in this Texas heat. The shop can get pretty crowded and has minimal seating (two tables and some bar tops). Thanks YELP crew and the Creamistry staff for making it sweet to be Elite!

Alyssa was warm & friendly, walking us through the menu options and then demonstrated the meticulous process of making each sundae by hand. The cream (vegan options are available!) and flavoring are mixed with liquid nitrogen, forming "dip n dots" style frozen beads; next, those beads are churned once again to create a creamy texture. Part alchemy, part artistry. Very cool (pun intended) and super yummy! Both our treats came out picture-perfect. They were rich, exploding with flavor, and ooey gooey - like a caramel candy or fudge texture. We sat inside to enjoy the air conditioned seats, while enjoying our cold treats on a scorching day. It gave us an opportunity to eye the fridge full of grab & go pints. There are so many to choose from! Apparently, they've been at this location for 3 or 4 years. I'm disappointed that I've never noticed them before. On a Friday afternoon, in the middle of summer, I was also surprised that we were the only ones there.... Perhaps they don't draw a lot of attention, because they are in such close proximity to several other ice cream venues (Shake Shack is next door + Marble Slab is inside the mall). A more catchy storefront or even demonstration their process next to the window might catch the eye of more people. Just a few suggestions!
