Please message me for more information regarding specific instances of the issues below. Spring Hill college lives off of the idea that they care about the mind, body and spirit. That is far from the truth. The students and faculty are severely taken advantage of. This school is all about money, money, money. Money in the pockets of those who run it. I am a student and do not feel as if I've gotten a quality education, especially for the tuition prices. Nothing is updated. The science students have no new technology. There are leaks in the ceilings, constant problems with the A/C, blindsiding, high turnover of staff and so much more. Please, please reconsider attending or allowing your child to attend Spring Hill College. It will be more hassle than it's worth. read more

Looks can be VERY deceiving. 5 stars for the beautiful campus. 4 stars for their semi-brilliant professors. 1 star for their International Business program. 1 star for the sissy, preppy, "I'm too cool for you" students. 1.5 stars for the city of Mobile. Tally it up 5+4+1+1+1.5 = 12.5 / 5 = 2.5 stars. (yes, I learned this is business statistics at this school) I was lucky to have made some really nice friends. We became pretty close. These girls are the only reason I miss this school. The International Business program was just terrible. They had little resources to cater the program I was in. They had no study abroad trips FOR international business students. Loyola University offered much more. Plus, coming from New Orleans, Mobile just does not live up to my party standards. Club Manhattan? Fabachers? Really? I don't think so. I would have moved back earlier if I could have. I'm so happy to be back in NOLA. I haven't been back to the Hill since I left a year ago. read more

My goodness, what a beautiful campus. I loved the grotto and church. The Avenue of the Oaks is absolutely breathtaking along with the views.

Recently I had to collect college transcripts which meant I had to contact SHC where I attended as a freshman in 1971-72 (for class of 1975). I established a foundation while there and planned to return my sophomore year. But life circumstances required I transfer and so I finished college elsewhere (after four colleges in four years). Compared to then, SHC's campus is not recognizable now - "completely and totally" different from 48 years ago (which I remember vividly - the people and times there). I saw in the video what was Mobile Hall (i.e. main male and my dormitory) by the tennis courts. So good to see great growth and development for SHC. Students - remember "you must do your part," along with the faculty and all involved with the school, to make SHC a success. My experience was with one exception, instructors were very dedicated, genuine, and sincere with students. The passage of time taught me there are positives and negatives at every school - so focus on the positives and appreciate what is at SHC. read more
