My family and I have vacationed in Spring City on Watts Bar Lake every summer for over twenty years. For the first time this year, I did not feel welcome in Spring City. If you are from out of town and happen to become sick with a head cold, do not try to buy Sufafed at this pharmacy. The staff will rudely tell you that "in Spring City, you have to have a prescription to get Sudafed." The Tennessee State Attorney General has stated that municipal laws such as this one in Spring City stating you need a prescription for Sudafed violate state law. Yes, Tennessee has a meth problem, but when a person is visibly sick and barely able to talk, one would think the pharmacist and its staff would have some modicum of compassion. Being told I needed a prescription was not a problem, but being told in such a rude tone was very offensive. read more
