5 Stars for a beginner skier or snowboarder. 3 stars if you are advanced. It is a small hill. 600 vertical feet. Two chairs. Two Lodges. I learned to ski and snowboard here. In fact, it was one of the early ski areas that allowed snowboarding. I wouldn't make a road trip to ski here but if you find yourself in the NE part of Oregon than stop by to check out a quaint little ski hill. read more

I Agree, this is where I learned to snowboard when I was growing up In Pendleton Oregon. It was a fairly short drive and you did not have to chain up to get there. The lodge was cozy and the people were nice. The runs are equally shared and there was never a long wait for the lift. I give the resort a 4 star review because although it's no Mt. Hood or Anthony Lakes Ski resort it is truly a nice find and easy to get to. I would recommend this resort to any families that have different levels of difficulty or experience. This is the hill my Dad took me to learn to ski almost 30 years ago, and now I take my kids here to learn... no big lines, everybody is friendly, and the runs are wide open, and perfect for the beginner / intermediate skier. Not to mention it is much cheaper than other ski areas... why pay almost double to teach kids to ski? Great little ski area. We haven't been skiing in years so it was a perfect place to pick it back up. Not too many people on the slopes and friendly helpful staff. We went night skiing and it was just beautiful. Such a great experience. read more
