He scheduled me quickly and produced pictures for me that I could start using the same day. The most recent pictures he took were for head shots to send to acting agencies. My acting instructor, George Maguire -who recently received a Lifetime Achievement award for his work in film and setting many acting students on to successful careers- told me these pictures Ryan took were outstanding and rivaled those of photographers who have a big reputation for head shots in the film industry. Look at my profile to see another example of Ryan's excellent work which I've used for my business cards and web site. His prices are quite fair, and his work is superb. He's very personable and made me feel relaxed and laugh a lot throughout our sessions which resulted in great pictures. Ryan is very generous with the time he provides to take shots that you can tell he takes with a keen eye and sense for what you're trying to capture. I'm very critical of myself, and I've never been happier with photos I've had taken than those which Ryan has done for me. He's not afraid to give his opinion on which pictures he feels are your best, but he'll support the choices you make. I've been in sales before, so I'm sensitive to when people tell me what they think I want to hear so they can boost their sale. I didn't get that with Ryan at all. I can tell he really gets what I'm after, and cares about my getting the best pictures possible. I can't more highly recommend him.

I chose her deluxe "branding session", which is apparently new and not on her website yet. She worked with me indoors and out for all the different personal and business shots that I asked for. She also framed some very cool images that I never would have thought of. I also appreciate that she was able to keep the appointment despite an emergency situation that came up the day before. I'd been planning around the date for months, so it meant a lot to me to keep the appointment, and she hustled to find a way. The "Valerie Gallery" (my term, not hers) of images after the session was generous and user-friendly. I was able to instantly download high-resolution copies of all the images (she also posted many more than promised). It's very easy to order prints.
