The guy that set us up with futbol golf and the cashier/griller guy were friendly and awesome. That activity/visit was 5 stars, and I whole-heartedly recommend it! NO to the ATV: We had such a good time with futbol golf, we came back another day for ATVing, and that was terrible. The older gentleman/mechanic/guide was very rude and sexist toward my 15-yo daughter. She's pretty tough, but it bothered her and it pissed me off. He must have thought he was hilarious/joking, miming she was scared of the ATV, pretending she wasn't having a good time, etc. He never gave the schtick up the whole time. Really, really odd. I've got only rudimentary Spanish and he had no English, so I couldn't set things right. We sorta had to grin and bear it, which killed me. I get the "old" generation is different (dude was probably only 10 years older than me... I'm 50), but this was way-off behavior. Maybe he's a part-owner or something, because I'll bet others have had this experience and he's still there.

I enjoyed this stretch of the Mediterranean Sea because it was free of tourists, secluded, and the…read morewater was clean! This is about a one hour train ride from Barcelona and totally worth it. What we did was pick up picnic food/wine and jumped on the RENFE train from Plaza Catalunya. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to figure out which train you are supposed to take. Our train left Barcelona around 2pm on a Saturday and we took the return train around 7pm. This was plenty of time for us to enjoy and get back just in time to get ready for dinner. The town at Sant Pol de Mar seemed like it had really cute shops. Unfortunately, at the time we were there nearly everything was closed. I am glad we had our own food and libations. The best thing about being in the Med Sea is floating completely effortlessly. This was by far my favorite part... well that and the beauty of being topless, or nude should you choose! Enjoy!
