You have the option of ordering the meal you want, or you can order buffet style. But rather than going up with your plate to a buffet station, you order the buffet cooked fresh. They limit the amount you can order at a time (dependant on the number of people at the table) but you can always order again, it is all one price, and this prevents over-ordering and food being wasted! The food is always cooked fresh, lots of choice, absolutely lovely. It's been a while since we actually went to the restaurant, as having recently had a baby means we are not going out all that often! So we thought we'd try Beijing Inn's delivery service. So far we have not been disappointed. They are excellent on the phone, have delivered within the time they said every time so far. Also BEFORE closing (about 15 minutes before) I heard a staff member mutter something about us 'going home' as we were the last party left. Not being from the area, we weren't sure what to order. Our incredible server, Fan, gave us a reccomendation of delicious sampler appetizers, and duck with pancakes. (She must have known from just looking at us) Being a server myself, I have a rule of thumb to always go for a servers suggestion, and boy am I glad we did! It was a perfect portion between the two of us. Fan was extremely personable and knowledgeable of the menu. She was from New York, and me being from California had a connection of common homeland. I was very impressed with her positive attitude and sweet personality. The review is more about how well she treated us and made me feel very comfortable.
