I learned about Spokane Urgent Care while looking for a place in Spokane that still offered TB skin tests. I had no idea they'd be so hard to track down but if you're looking-I'll save you the research- it's here or the Heath Dept. They were kind and patient with my two young kids. Wait time for the actual test and the read two days later were both about 20 minutes which I didn't find terrible. I was very impressed by their knowledge of travel vaccinations and country specific requirements. Would highly recommend this location if you have any travel related medical needs/paperwork to complete. read more

I took my girlfriend here because she had an ingrown toenail and we were here for about an hour in half just in the room itself. While we were told an hour and a half at the desk, we both thought it was the wait time not the time it would take in the room. The staff is disorganized and put in the wrong information. The doctor took forever when getting her medication info printed, and it was an overall terrible experience. I don't recommend coming here. read more

It has been a horrible and painful experience! I was seen for a hematoma on my leg that is the size of a golf ball. The doctor issued a referral to a general surgeon for a drainage. I was told to wait 48h and if I hadn't had heard from the scheduling department of the General Surgery to give them a call myself. After 72h I finally called and was told that the Scheduling department is all caught up with their referrals and they have not received mine. I called Spokane Urgent Care and asked them to re-send it. Today it has been 10 days since my initial visit and my referral still has not been received by the General Surgeon! I spoke to Riley from the front desk and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. I was told that my referral has been faxed two times and that it's " all that she can do for me" . After my literal begging of her to figure out a way to make sure my referral is received Riley hang up the phone on me ! I am currently in pain and have fears of the hematoma to cause further infection. I felt discriminated by Riley, possibly for my accent. English is not my native language. I will be filing a complaint! Extremely disappointed! I am Hoping they will read this review and listen to the supposedly recorded phone lines and address this an appropriate and unprofessional behavior of the front desk ! I'm new to the area and needed seen after work, there was a wait of about 45 minutes in the waiting room and an additional 20 minutes in the room. I was seen by a provider that appeared professional and no nonsense, they had a few tests ran and I ended up getting put on antibiotics that I picked up at their pharmacy, that was the best part of the visit, my meds were ready 5 minutes after I was seen. They called me a few days later with lab results and just to check on how I was feeling. I would definitely recommend this clinic and this location. read more

Went in because I was feeling awful from some type of cold or flu. The counterworkers, triage nurse and x-ray technicians were all kind and courteous. But the MA I saw, Leigh Trivino, was extremely rude! She had no interest in hearing my opinions or concerns, and for some reason she felt that it was necessary to embarrass me regarding my teeth. Her EXACT words were "you have bad teeth," and "what, are you afraid of the dentist?" I believe that this is unacceptable behavior for a medical "professional"! I know my teeth are in poor shape, but she is the first person inside a medical facility to put it so unnecessarily rudely. MAs and doctors should be kind and compassionate, not impolite and disrespectful. Needless to say, I will be going to a different urgent care next time. read more

My experience here was absolutely horrible. I came in with a throat so sore that I could not eat, and could barely drink or talk. The doctor absolutely refused to give me any antibiotics or anything for the pain, and actually suggested that I drink whiskey instead!!! Even after telling her that I'm sober, she did not back down, apologize, or offer any other suggestions. I begged to just be given prescription strength ibuprofen, and I was treated like I was trying to obtain drugs to misuse. I've seen other reviews stating that they treat everyone on Medicaid like this, so obviously it's not an isolated incident. The next day I ended up calling a nurse hotline, and she was absolutely floored with how I was treated, and the fact that absolutely nothing was done to help me. Now I have to go to the ER, and spend thousands of dollars, just to be taken seriously, and actually helped. The ER told me that if I had waited longer (like urgent care suggested), that I would've been at risk of my throat swelling so bad that I could not breathe. My instructions from urgent care were to "go home and rest." Everyone in the ER was shocked at how poorly I was treated, and the fact that I was refused antibiotics, and pain medicine. Urgent care told me that I was dealing with Covid, even though I showed absolutely no symptoms of it, and all of the symptoms of strep throat. Unsurprisingly, the ER swab came back positive for strep, and negative for Covid. The staff were very unprofessional, and none of them were grasping the idea that I don't have a car, and couldn't drive anywhere. I was repeatedly told to "just stop by on the way home and pick up some cough drops", and staff completely ignored me when I kept explaining that it wasn't an option. On my discharge papers it says that I was prescribed prescription strength cough syrup, but that's a blatant lie. I was not prescribed anything, and wasn't offered any advice aside from "whiskey and cough drops". The reason for my visit was also stated as "nothing" in my discharge papers. The strep throat swab was done incorrectly, and they didn't even look at my tonsils, or my extremely swollen lymph nodes. The cherry on top is that I had to wait for an extremely long time while in the exam room. I had to wait alone for about 40 minutes for one test result to come in, and then once it was time to leave, I was told to wait again, and that my papers would just take a second. I waited for so long that I'm pretty positive that they completely forgot about me. I ended up having to find someone, and they got annoyed when I said that I thought I'd been forgotten. Once it was time to leave, staff made me wait in the secluded back parking lot, because "that's where Uber drivers always pick up patients!" The driver could not find where I was, and I ended up being charged a fee because of it, and lost my ride. Would give a 0/5 if I could. I'm never coming back here, and if you have anything serious going on, it's best to just go to the ER first. Otherwise youll just end up being sent there anyway, after Urgent Care's horrible advice does nothing to help. Make sure to steer clear of Dr Huson, as she is extremely unprofessional, and does not take her patients seriously. read more

The worst experience EVER! All I needed was to see a doctor to order a blood test to rule out thyroid problems. They guaranteed me I would see a physician so there I sat in the examining room in front of a young woman who looked like a doctor, dressed like a doctor, acted like a doctor, introduced herself as my provider, examined me, and played the role of a doctor in the examining room! She ordered the lab to draw blood for the test and just as she was leaving the room I thought I better ask, "Are you a doctor?" She responded, "No, I am a nurse but I have a PhD." So I told the office that I needed to have a doctor sign off on the lab results and that took me two weeks to get that done. Then they told me I had to sign a release to get the medical records sent to my doctor at my hometown, so I drove an hour to the Spokane Urgent Care again to sign the release. The clerk at the front desk was going to fax to my hometown doctor just the lab results with no sign off from the doctor at Spokane Urgent Care. I told her, "No, my doctor needs the copy that is signed by the doctor who reviewed the lab results," and she finally produced it and said, "I will fax this today," but she did not. She never sent the records to my hometown doctor and when I called 3 days later to inquire why, the front desk clerk at Spokane Urgent Care told me I had never signed a release! I responded, "What are you talking about? I just signed a release." The fact is Spokane Urgent Care lost my medical records release. This is deception and incompetence at an epic level. First of all no "provider" should deceive a patient into believing he or she is a doctor. They should announce what their level of certification is when entering the examination room. Second, a patient's medical records and signed documents should be handled with the utmost care and maintained in a confidential patient file. There should be no loose medical records or medical releases floating around and landing in some front desk clerk's garbage bin. I am bringing my concerns about this matter to the Washington State Licensing Board. No patient should be worried about the handling of their medical records file and the documents that they've signed, and no patient should be deceived into believing they're seeing a doctor when they are not. read more

If you need to go to an Urgent Care, this is the place to go. Very fast, yet thorough. Very kind, professional, sympathetic and seem like they really do care what's going on and want to help you feel better quickly. Everyone was so nice and answered my questions without acting irritated (like other medical practices have done to me in the past). They don't rush you either. read more

I took a friend here the other day .. As I was reading some reviews about them on google .. a lot of 'em mentioned on taking an online appointment if you could. My friend did take one .. and I did not see anything that was of concern .. as he mentioned that everything went alright with his checkup too. However, there is this one thing I would want to get an improvement on - the reading material (magazines/newspaper) that is kept here :D .. I know people are usually busy in their cellphones but some of them still like to read :P It was a tough wait. :D read more

This was my second visit to Spokane Urgent Care and I had no issues with them either time. Tonight, I went in at 7pm and was seen by the doctor, got my prescription and was out by 730. As I recall, my first time went smoothly as well and I was in and out in record time. I just saw the reviews and felt that I should give praise when it is due. Perhaps their staffing and/or policies have changed, but that is where I am going the next time I need urgent care. read more

Brought my daughter, I was worried about upper respiratory infection. They had me in and out in less than 45 min. The dr was thorough, answered all my questions, was great with my daughter and made me feel comfortable leaving. Would definitely visit this location when I can't get into her pediatrician. read more

I am sick, and currently weak from it. My home clinic told me this was the closest site to my house, for a Covid-19 test. When I arrived I called, the woman said I should have been told to make an appointment, the next one was 1 hour away. Being that the location was far from my home, it would be worthless to commute there and back again. I decided to wait. Once an hour had passed I called again to check in and let them know I was waiting in my car. I waited for over two hours... by the end of it I had to pee so bad I thought I'd burst. (Couldn't use a bathroom for fear of infecting others) during that time, three additional cars arrived after me, each one of them got out of their cars without masks and tried the door (it was locked). They all waved down the test administrators to ask how to get a test. Each of them were tested before me because they didn't follow procedure. When I at last received my test. The man was rude, and short with me. YALL NEED BETTER COMMUNICATION, UPHOLD PROCEDURE. read more

After i sat in the waiting room for four hours patiently i was finally able to been taken back to the room to see the doctor. The nurse said the doctor will be with you shortly, an hour and a half later i was still waiting to been seen. I open my door to find the nurses and a doctor all hanging out laughing so i asked if i had been forgotten about since i was there for over a hour with no one to check on me. The nurse then said we know how to do our jobs so dont worry the doctor will be with you shortly. The doctor (15 minutes later) rushed to the room. I went in thinking i had something and he said you are negative.. So i asked him whats wrong with me, he then said " we dont know well run tests and get back to you in three days thank you for coming in" I waited over 5 hours for that. I have never been to a clinic where the doctor was so unprofessional with the manner in which he spoke to me. I was having upper abdominal pain and severe at that and he told me it was "period cramps" He did not check anything whatsoever! I think being a female I know what my cramps are like. when he was telling me about the prescription he was going to write I questioned the upper abdominal pain I was having that had no relation to menstrual cramps and his response was "if you think I'm wrong go to the er!" needless to say I left in absolute tears...did not even care to pick up whatever the hell he wanted to prescribe me...and most importantly left with no answers. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone if it was the last place left to go to! read more

I have used their services before without issue. The doctors are generally very professional and thorough. I have been dealing with a misdiagnosed broken ankle for 5weeks and had finally gotten a report back it wasn't just sprained but broken. I had tried to get a hold of my doctor all day (with no luck) as i stepped wrong and my ankle was causing severe pain and spoke to the nurse line through chas/urgent care who said I should be seen w/i 12 hours. The nurse said if I can't get to my doctor to go to urgent care. My doctor was not available for 3-4 days, so I went to urgent care. I was refused to be seen. I told then the nurse line said I should be seen, the nurse just kept saying we don't re-fill pain medication. I said that's fine I need to know if something else is wrong that I stepped wrong or something and I I need someone to examine it. Again they just said the thing about pain medication, and refused to treat me. I am lodging a formal complaint. I am not nor have ever been an addict or "drug seeker" and was merely trying to get medical attention that their own nurse advised I do. I now have an appointment with an Orthopedic Specialist and will never (if possible) be using this clinics services. I have had way too many problems either getting an appointment or mess ups on necessary medications (non-narcotics). read more
