Swings, Slides, Monkey Bars, Tire Swings, Pull Up Bars, lots of climbing and fun for the rascals. This would the perfect place to stop on a road trip to get kids to burn off energy. There are also searing areas for the adults to watch the kids. I saw some grandparents just chilling watching their grand children run around the playground. There are also clean public restrooms & a pavilion with tables nearby. A few new tennis courts. Lots of large Southern Live Oak Trees to provide ample shade (something ALL Southerners appreciate). There is also a free mini library with books, a cool birdhouse, and a splash pad for the summer heat. Quiet, Clean, Safe, no vagrancy or panhandlers. No litter. Great For Kids. Parking is all the way around the park on all four sides. Splash Pad is Wheelchair Accessible. Sign posted said no pets but I was there with my dog on a leash, no complaints or issues from anyone else. This park is also walking distance (1/4 mile) to George B Halliday Park. We walked there & back, too. The only thing I recommend is not leave your food unattended at a table, some squirrels came & jacked my open bag of chips & spilled my soda.

Historical buildings with placards, an old church, schoolhouse, post office, general store, log cabin, replicas of Creek Indian houses. There are public restrooms & tons of electrical hookups, looks like a lot of events are held here. Currently, there are Christmas Trees & lights up around the trees, buildings, & fences. The roads & parking lot are gravel. No playground, but I think this place is good for kids, lots of outdoor space & trees. I think that Baldwin County does Civil War reenactments here. Very easy to get to, right off of I-65 @ Exit 31, just two miles past a Circle K gas station, Live Oak Landing & two creeks on AL-225, I think.

Something is under construction by the playground & pavilion, concrete has been laid. Picnic Pavilion has lights. Park is a little hilly, has a basin in the center to collect frequent rainfall & drain pipe. Park is behind a school. Parking lot is medium sized & was empty when I visited with my dog at 7 AM. Sign posted stating no pets, but we were there early, no one else was there, did not seemed enforced. Every park I visited in Bay Minnette has the same sign posted. I visited them all with zero complaints from anyone. My dog was on a leash. There was a semi-paved access road encircling the park, separating it from the surrounding forrest. We followed the road because we felt adventurous. Paved, bumpy road went behind the school & near some industrial plant off in the distance. Drainage ditch adjacent to road, watch your step, it's deep. The road split, we explored both areas. The unpaved road was on an incline, a little steep, led off into the woods. We walked it, but I don't recommend driving it unless you have a 4WD with mud tires. You can hear lots of critters in the woods plus birds. I don't recommend going off the path into the woods because the terrain is questionable, many streams, wetlands. FYI this park is off a conservation area with Water & Conservation Trust + US National Parks Service because it is part of The Mobile-Tensaw River Delta (America's Amazon), so it is a protected area.

This skate park is located in George B Halliday Park, which has several baseball diamonds, basketball courts, batting cages, bleachers, concessions. Restrooms are near the baseball areas. Park closes around 10 or 11 pm. Skate Park is next to a ditch, shaded by large oak trees. Skate Park does not appear to be well lit, but the adjacent baseball diamonds are. There is a larger skate park in Mobile, Public Safety Park, but that is over 30 miles south of Bay Minnette.

Pavilions have electric power outlet plug ins, I did not see any restrooms or water faucets, maybe they are inside the civic club building. There is a baseball diamond and backstop at the far end of the park. There is also a circular paved walking track with benches & outdoor fitness equipment. Most of the park is open green space for events & sports. Park is right off of highway, signs for both Stockton Civic Club & Old School Yard Park & parking lot. A shallow stream/ rain water run off run through center of park, which is totally surrounded on almost all sides by the woods. Large water tower at front of park.
