Buying our tickets and getting all the info we needed before our experience was a breeze. We all felt confident headed into the trip. Finding the harbor was equally easy. Now onboard the boat is really what earns this a 5 star review. And even more specifically, our guides are the real 5 stars. Oscar, Eric, Thalia, Naty are THE crew you want to go on a trip with. Each were so kind, so accommodating, and contributed to making these memories last a life time. Of course, they highly emphasized safety as well. During our snorkling we saw sea turtles, tons of fish, and even saw a dolphin at Icacos (apparently they're a regular!) The food was delicious, shout out to the chef! Exactly what you want to eat when you've been in the sun and water all day. Filling, delicious, but not heavy. Drinks were good and generous. Alcoholic and non alcohol available for everyone's taste. Everyone agreed this was their favorite activity and we also ziplined at Toro Verde and did the bioluminescent bay kayaking in Fajardo (also great experiences, but this was just THAT GREAT).

There are two levels, the second being smaller, I believe they said that they can accommodate up to 50 people maybe, but 29 of us packed it really tight. You get a safety briefing. The staff is bi-lingual, energetic, and funny. For my plus size peeps, this is a size friendly excursion. The stairs are big enough to get in and out and they will get your floating safety belt on that body, comfortably. They do sanitize the gear right in front of you, but they also don't require you use the mask and fins. They also give this homemade delicious lunch & of course, drinks with rum. You snorkel for an hour and then spend time at the beach for an hour. If you get motion sickness, take it prior and you should be fine. All the personnel was super friendly and caring - they made sure everyone was safe and enjoyed the ride. It took a little over an hour to get to the island, and when we arrived to Flamenco Beach, the conditions were not that great, so they took us to Culebrita instead, and it was gorgeous. We also did some snorkelling on the way, which was a lot of fun - lots of colourful fish and beautiful coral reefs. Just make sure to bring dramamine (if you need to) and reef safe sunscreen! (which is normally any mineral sunscreen that leaves white residue versus your typical spray bottle). We also had lunch on the boat, which was a buffet with a dozen of different options - everything was delicious, to be honest, and I honestly didn't expect anything beyond some basic sandwiches or wraps, but this was so much better. All in all, it was a great way to spend the day, and I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!

I called all the other sunset sails in the area and of course they were all booked up for a beautiful Saturday night. But these guys couldn't fill their boat? They were especially great with those in our group who quickly discovered they did not quite have their sea legs. We had quite a few victims of seasickness onboard, and the crew handled it all with patience, humor, and compassion, making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Once you get past the ride out there, it is nothing but smooth sailing, beautiful scenery, great music, and a really fun atmosphere. The Can-Am experience was absolutely amazing -- 10/10 and one of the highlights of our trip! Gabriela was our tour guide and she had such a vibrant, fun personality. The tour was about 2 hours long and she took us all throughout Viejo San Juan with tons of photo opportunities along the way. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the area, and it was such a great way to experience Old San Juan without having to walk everywhere in the heat. We truly got to see and experience so much. Felix and Gabriela were both amazing and made the experience memorable for us. Unfortunately, we did not get to experience the jet ski portion. We had reserved it the day before, but while we were having a beach day my husband had opened his first beer as we approached the jet ski tent, so they would not allow him to drive. We asked if waiting a few hours would make it okay, but it was a definite no. While we completely understand and respect the safety policy and why it exists, I do think a larger or clearer sign ahead of time would be helpful for guests to know there is absolutely no drinking beforehand. Since it was literally his first beer and the staff heard it open as we walked up, I do feel the jet ski team could have been a little more willing to work with us and a bit friendlier in their approach. Overall though, the Can-Am tour was incredible and absolutely worth booking!
