This laundromat was a great place for us to stop and do our laundry while traveling. -The wash is about 5,5 euros per cycle. There are 3 large (18 kg), 3 medium (13 kg), and 4 small (9 kg) washers. Soap is included, and seems to work really great. Clothes come out fresh and clean without the added options of perfume and extra rinses or spins. It takes about 30 minutes without the extras. We used the "Care" cycle which was great for all clothes. -The dryer was 2,5 euros per 15 minutes. There are 7 dryers and they are large and very nice. We ran on the medium setting and had no issues. Clothes came out dry. -There are large bins to use to transfer clothes, nice and clean. -There are large tables for folding clothes, also very clean. -There is a central payment terminal where you select your washer/dryer and settings, and then can either pay with cash or credit card. There is an English option available. -The only negative is that we could not get the WiFi to work. -Overall, the cleanliness of this place is the most impressive, and the quality of the machines and facility is worth the money. We walked almost 15 minutes to get here because of the good reviews, passing several other laundromats along the way. We did so a second time before we left Barcelona. Just did my laundry there and it was a easily and smooth experience. All you need is your dirty laundry. The detergent is automatically added in the washer. Very high tech laundromat. Washing took 30mins and drying is 15min intervals. They have 3 sizes for the washer which is great for those with big loads. Only con would be the free wifi kept disconnecting and disappearing. It's a laundromat. There are not that many washers and dryers so you may need to wait. The best thing is that you don't need detergent bc the machine adds it for you. The dryer will probably need two sessions. Each one will cost you 2€ and is 15minutes per session. Plan to spend at least an hour here. Ok, this is just a laundromat. It is clean, new-ish machines, and efficient. The detergent is automatically dispensed, so no need to bring anything. Payment is made on a single console, selecting your machine by number and providing payment. The machine does indeed accept coins under €1, but sometimes it takes a few tries. No credit cards, only bills and coins. Change is made only by coins, so be prepared to get a crapton if you pay with larger bills. At the time of review, there were 7 washers and 5 dryers. 2 large washers €10 2 medium washers for €8 3 small washers €5 5 large dryers for €2 per 15 minutes. On low heat, took about 45 minutes for our load. With normal heat and a reasonable amount of clothes, I'm sure 15 or 30 minutes would suffice. This place is a bit more expensive than other locations, but it is clean, modern, and worth the extra charge for those tourists who are pressed for time. If you need help, there is a quasi-camouflaged door in the corner. Knock hard and they might come and help you if you need. read more

Worked fine. We were in a crazy hurry but managed to get clothes cleaned up. We had only few seconds of time to work out the instructions. Better if you have a few minutes to do that. Accidentally I paid before closing the dryer and I thought I lost my last coins because there was no indication of payment on the dryer (unless I missed something). But luckily it still worked fine. The detergent's perfume: it's acceptable. For a public washing machine, the quality seems to be good. I don't know if they could slightly lessen the perfume and whether they use dishwasher vinegar, but the smell of the clothes was acceptable as it was (could be slightly less strong smelling, but the quality is still great). For the drying time in our case I couldn't do the full 15 min for our small batch of clothes at medium heat, had to open it 1 min before ending (no problem) and some shirts remained slightly damp, but still got the job done and the day was saved! read more

Really easy to use. The instructions say to load a card, but you actually only need cash/coins. Just put your clothes into a washer, go to the machine to pay and select your washer number, then go back to the washer to make all of your selections. The washer will start and give you a time estimate. The doors lock, so you can leave without worrying about your clothes being taken. I had 2 weeks with of laundry and paid 10e for a 17kg wash. Absolutely not. 10 euros is about twice the cost of what a wash should cost. And for that the machines should work. Wouldn't let me choose the extra rinse and the stench from the perfume they use is so strong it's actually making me ill. I will now have to rinse out the chemical smell in the bathroom sink, which kind of defeats the purpose of bringing my clothes to a laundromat. Oh yeah, that wifi? Never worked once. We are from NYC and assumed that the laundromat would be busy so we went in as soon as the doors opened. It was intimidating at first as there were no employees around, but the instructions on the machines were really easy to understand. There was free wifi and the decor of the place is pretty cool. The Machines: - They take coins or you can buy a splash card. It was a bit pricey, but the soap comes with the wash so it should even out. ( no need to handle the soap, the machines will dispense it automatically). - You can do small, medium, or large load. Thank god for this place. Half way through our trip our clothing could definitely use a good wash. I was sick of packing my suitcase mixed with dirty and clean clothing. Everything here is automated. There isn't a single employee inside. Average cost is about 5€ for a decent sized load and 2€ to dry. There's no need to add detergent because the water they use already has detergent and softener in it. The machines here do a great job of getting your clothes clean and smelling fresh. The hotel we were staying at wanted 2€ to wash a pair of socks which is beyond hilarious. Why Splash isn't in every city around the world is beyond me. This place is awesome. read more

The instructions are clear, there are 3 different sizes of washer (with soap already inside) and the whole process is relatively quick. For one medium size load of laundry, it took under an hour. This place is so hot inside. It needs fans. The wifi wasn't working either. It definitely could be cleaner. After we washed and dried our clothes, our clothes were still damp. The money machine stopped working too. The machine wouldn't give back the other people's money and kept asking for a splash card. There were other people there who still needed to dry their clothes. Beautiful facility, convenient location near Passieg and Ramblas areas, soap dispensed automatically,, The bad: a tad pricey... 5 Euros for a small washer and 2 Euros for 15 minutes of dryer time. The ugly: Dryers kept malfunctioning and stopping after putting my money in. Switched to a different dryer two more times with same problem. No attendant or way to get help as it is an unattended facility. Electronic pay station swallowed additional overpaid money and would not spit it back out. Facility was filthy, hair strands, trash and lint all over. There is a phone number you can call for "customer service," but really?!?
