They made the pizza in what looked to be a coal fired oven. The pizzas were a little bigger than single serving but we ordered 2 since we were told they were for 1 person. We definitely could have gotten by with one between the two of us. The first pizza came out hot from the oven and we got through a third when the other arrived. It had plenty of sauce so that was just how we liked it, the cheese was a little hard to chew, the crust was well cooked and not too chewy. I gave this place 4 stars because they didn't have sparkling water which was on the menu and the server basically ignored us which was surprising since we were the only table for the first 15 minutes that we were there. Overall, pizza was decent for this area.
What a fantastic find while we were here in Marbella!…read more We were looking for something close outside the hotel and we're having quite a bit of trouble locating anything worthwhile on Yelp. I guess there just aren't that many Yelp travelers in the area for whatever reason. I jumped on Trip Advisor and had much better luck in my search. I stumbled upon this place and based on the reviews on TA we decided to give it a go. It was less than a 15 minute walk from Puente Romano in a nice area full of little restaurants and shops. The servers were so nice. They spoke English really well and smiled the entire time we were there. I was craving pizza (hence the searching) so I went with that. It was fantastic! It had a white sauce, Iberian bacon, cheese, and a free range egg in the center. I added lots of chili oil and it totally blew my mind how good it was. It was crunchy, gooey, and just really good. Just what I was looking for! My wife had a calzone and it was way more than she could eat. I will say the calzone was different than any other I have seen. It was almost like a thick spaghetti sauce inside but tasted pretty good but would not choose that again. The prices are very reasonable especially compared to the Hotel we were staying in. I dug the vibe and the decor was pretty cool. I wish we could have had another meal here! Hopefully I can turn other Yelpers on to this spot as I had to add it myself to the site. You're all welcome! ;)
Let me tell you this place knows how to turn a frown upside down. I stumbled in on a Saturday night…read more(because my heels broke), frown fully formed on my face (because my dress broke), and it was my intent to sit silently through my family dinner. However the moment the drink menu was placed in from of me, my eyes lit up. If you have a taste for fruity, refreshing drinks I highly recommend the mango aurelyus and the passion of cibo. While browsing the food menu I was presented with many delicious options, and I landed on the penne allá puttanesca. It was the perfect meal to permanently put me in a good mood. To accompany dinner, my family and I enjoyed the lovely Artadi. Our server, Martha, gave us an excellent history of the wine which made it all the more enjoyable. Through the dinner conversation I noticed how the lighting had played a part in setting up a wonderful environment and how the music was upbeat but not overbearing, and accompanied the lighting and surrounding conversation to create a comfortable environment for all. This beautiful establishment was committed to making my night cheerful, because Martha brought us some limoncello shots for me and my family to imbibe in before heading home. Now my only thing to frown about is having to walk back!

We kept walking near the restaurant and a lovely blond convinced us to try it out and I'm so glad she did. I happened to walk near the kitchen and I saw the chef making pizza and It was very cool to see how dedicated he was to making the perfect pizza. He had no idea anyone was watching him but you could tell he was perfecting the best pizza possible. The food is out of this world. Seriously some of the best pizza I've had, even in Italy!!! We have been here in Marbella on Holiday for several days and have been underwhelmed by many restaurants we've eaten at. The food we've eaten here in town has been subpar at best and Pizzeria Picasso by far has come in for the rescue!! WOW it's just amazing here!! The food, service, Chef, Staff, Host, and ambience is outstanding! We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our evening! Every dish we ordered was delicious, hot, and well prepared. Bravo to Chef and his team for being so Awesome! We will definitely come back to eat here (more than once) on our return back to Marbella!
