It is a private and personalized experience. She was thorough and attentive to my needs. She was also thoughtful about privacy and made accommodations for my chronic pain. While I have been having waxes for a while and rarely experience pain, I experienced NO pain with Gail! She is extremely knowledgable and has medical expertise in addition to aesthetician expertise. She was able to advise me on issues I was faces related to the services, and I have had the best after-effects I have ever experienced in 8+ years of consistent waxing. I normally go to EWC, but she has a new repeat client. Loved speaking to her as well; she is a warm, genuine, and friendly person. This is in the Phenix Salons. They're sticklers for having you call to be let inside the building, which is frustrating but that's on the building management--NOT on the suite owners like Gail. Parking is easy--there's a garage right next to the spa. The atmosphere inside her suite is cozy, clean, and neutral without strong smells or loud music. I felt so comfortable and have been thrilled with my results.

There is a reason you can get in quickly here. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way…read more I had one laser treatment for age spots, and almost three weeks later, **not one spot or area looks better.** In fact, my skin looks worse. I have had IPL and PICO laser treatments in the past (not here), so I understand that multiple treatments are often needed for full results and clearer skin. I wasn't expecting perfect results from one treatment, but I was certainly expecting some indication that the areas had actually been treated. Instead, it seems like additional spots that hadn't even surfaced before were brought out, so I now feel like I have twice as many spots. None of the treated spots have flaked off or improved, and I also have a wound on my shoulder that bled and still has not healed, which was not there before the treatment. I texted their texting line to let them know what was happening and received **no response at all.** At my follow-up appointment, the doctor came in and immediately wanted to do more laser. At that point, I did not feel comfortable allowing them to do another treatment. While I was waiting for the doctor, my daughter actually pointed out a roach crawling on the wall behind me. The office itself is dingy and simply does not feel clean or well maintained. The front desk staff initially seems nice, but when you ask questions or express concerns, the attitude quickly becomes irritated and passive-aggressive. I paid almost $600 and, almost three weeks later, feel that my skin is worse than when I walked in. I'm extremely disappointed with both the results and the lack of follow-up or concern when I reached out. My advice is to take your time finding a reputable dermatologist. It may take longer to get an appointment, but in my experience, it's worth waiting for a place you feel comfortable trusting with your skin.
