"[Their old location on SE 15th St was in the midst of a construction zone, but it was still worth braving the traffic for their craft beer, wine & whiskey selection, not to mention their friendly and helpful staff - but the new location is AWESOME! They are now SO easy to get to on S. Douglas Blvd. next to the new Zaxby's, and have a great parking lot. The new store is much more spacious so they have added many new items - get a shopping cart when you enter! Their prices are competitive and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will order it.]" It's now crazy 2020 and Midwest Wine & Spirits is STILL as awesome as ever! The staff is well-informed so can assist you in finding exactly what you need and they are super friendly & helpful. They have great prices and a huge selection of everything to choose from so they are our go-to for craft beer. No need to ever drive across town to Byron's or Freeman's - THIS is the place! In addition to many fine wines & spirits, there is an entire wall of craft beer on shelves and another half wall of cold brewskis in the coolers. They have a special area for new arrivals from local breweries as well so you can keep up with new releases. There is also a large area of "single" cans & bottles in case you want to try out some items before buying larger amounts. They will also special order anything you are unable to find. All employees are masked and social distancing is in place. They will carry your purchases to your vehicle. They will even deliver within a certain zone and you can easily order online for pickup as well. I prefer to "shop" but feel very safe & comfortable inside the store. So if you are needing some quarantine beverages, checkout Midwest Wine & Spirits today - they are open 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat!

The Orchard on 66" is a pecan orchard located along Oklahoma State Highway 66 in Luther, Oklahoma…read more It appears to be a rebranding or promotional name for the well-known Couch Pecan Orchard, a family-owned business with deep roots in the area, celebrated for its pecans and community events like the Luther Pecan Festival. The orchard is situated at the intersection of Route 66 and Luther Road. The orchard's history traces back to the early 1960s when Gordon Couch established the original Couch Pecan Orchard on a triangle of land between Route 66, Luther Road, and the Deep Fork River. The orchard has grown to include 13 pecan varieties, such as Pawnee, Kanza, Meramec, and Mohawk, using grafting techniques like the "four-flap" method popularized in Oklahoma. It became a local landmark, known for selling pecans starting November 15 each year, dubbed "Opening Day" by Diane.

There was a couple in front of me and they couldn't decide so took longer than usual. Also noticed customer at the drive thru tht was waiting. I ordered 2 jalapeño kolaches(what they call them now) but they are still just pigs in a blanket. There was a language barrier issue so I ended up not getting them heated. Not as good as they use to be. More bread than anything but it filled the hole in my stomach. The sweets, pastries and donuts looked good.
