They sent out no warning Sunday nor have they sent out an explanation since. I called immediately Sunday when our debit cards were declined and was routed to a representative of a contracted fraud detection company. I had to wait until after the credit union opened on Monday to call and get info. I was told there had been a glitch. The first employee, a young woman could have cared less. Her supervisor was more polite; however, she could not answer my questions. Why wasn't an email or text alert sent out Sunday to cardholders? I was told Comm Fed was not aware of the glitch until Monday when the credit union opened. If a credit union is going to issue debit cards that can be used 24/7, they need to be responsive and aware of glitches 24/7. And despite taking my phone number and telling me a Brian or Byron would be contacting me to discuss my concerns, no one has contacted me. Obviously, Comm Fed does not value our family's business.

They said that I did. I also called again the other day to ask if I had opened the right kind of account. He also said I did. Now I called again today to ask about getting the bonus because I still did not receive it. The lady told me I was not qualified for it because I did not open the right account. Our agent recommended Micah and ZFG mortgage and we couldn't be happier. From the get go Micah let us know he was in our corner and that he would be with us through the process from start to finish. He wasn't lying. I had a million questions through the application to closing. He was quick and responsive, never making me feel like I was too much. He was diligent and sourced multiple institutions to get us an incredible rate and even found us a down payment assistance program. To the end he was responsive and making sure that we were comfortable and confident in the loan we were getting for our home. Micah then informed us we didn't qualify for one but we qualified for another. We were told we could be expecting a 7k assistance toward our down payment and closing costs. We checked in a couple more times in the weeks leading up because that assistance wasn't showing up on any of the documents they sent and he assured us every time that we'd have it for closing. The day before closing Micah called us stating we didn't qualify for the first time home buyers grant and gave no explanation for why we couldn't utilize that program. We could afford to proceed with the purchase of the house but if we weren't fortunate to be able to, we would have lost a lot of time, money, and ultimately wouldn't have been able to purchase a house at all. Micah is a nice guy but seems under trained or incompetent with first time home buyers.
