I booked second consultation with Mr Jonathan Loughead there trying to get arthroscopic investigation into persistent hip pain which restricts walking, I was told he would not do procedure even though I have had excellent results from injections makes no sense to me when I am paying for investigation procedure and it could result in long term solution even removing the need for wheelchair use if it turned out to be as simple as my shoulder arthroscopy where they shaved the bone and never had a problem since, but have tried to send him link to NHS guidance for Arthroscopic investigation for him to read. I will put it down to him having the I am god syndrome and find some one else read more

I was lucky enough to be sent to this hospital when a private patient could not make their slot for a knee operation last October and last minute I got a switch from a local NHS hospital for mine. I count myself very lucky and was highly impressed by the service and care I received. First of all I was met at reception and shown to my private room which was a good size, tv and large bathroom and comfy chairs for my visitors. Nursing staff, the surgeon and anaesthetist all visited me in my room and there was no need to leave until I went to theatre. While I was recovering choices of food were good and staff were great. The hospital was clean and follow up physio was good. When I need future treatment I will try everything to get back here for surgery! read more
