I took a Pranayama & Stretch class on a Friday and a Satya Yoga class on a Monday. I've been doing yoga for a long time and these styles were new to me. I appreciated the mix of breathing, stretching, and opening these two different classes offered. If I'm ever back in that area again, I will definitely drop in for a class again! It is also nearby some great food options, a tarot/palm reader, and souvenir shops. I became involved with the Institute and Sarah's helpful techniques while advancing my personal 10+ year practice and starting the teacher training program. After exhaustive research of the variety of teacher training programs currently offered, I selected the McLean program due to the evidence-based emphasis and "techniques over traditions" approach. I found the program rigorous, very well curated and remarkably well supported. My understanding of meditation and its myriad of benefits was greatly expanded--my appetite for continued learning fully sparked. Great thing is, now that my appetite is whetted, I'm part of a diverse and dynamic community of dedicated professionals that I'm eager to continue learning from and alongside. Sarah McLean has established an incredible community with abundant resources and support for those wishing to begin or deepen their meditation practice. She exudes authenticity and as such attracts kindred folks that only further add to the beauty of this community. However you are able to get involved with this community, I *highly* recommend.

It's not just about kicking and punching, it's also about teaching the kids how to treat others in the community. The entire staff are so patient, full of energy, and each of them is a model of inspiration. We started when my son was four. There was a difficult time for him to wake up from his nap to go to the classes and I was thinking maybe I should wait till he's a little older. But I'm glad that we stick with it, I can see him growing from a shy kid who didn't want to go in the mat to a kid that was so proud of himself for talking to another kid on the mat lol. The tournaments are great! They help the kids gain more confidence. I can go on an on with all the great things they do but to keep in short in one sentence - We are glad that we found KC!
