I wasted a lot of money hoping for pretty hair! I was resigned to just deal with the situation as it was and avoided getting my hair cut or styled - let alone colored in any way until an event came up where I had to do something about my current "do". And again disappointment and an empty wallet to go with it! Ellen Regina was right down the street from my house and I thought "Let's give it a shot". "Can't be worse than what I had in the past right?" This was the best decision I ever made and she is worth every penny I pay her! I tell this to everyone who asks about who does my hair! My hair has never looked better. Ellen worked with me to enhance the color with various combinations of highlighting, gave me a style I can handle myself and has helped me to improve the quality and condition of my hair. Ellen is a rarity in hairstylists and over the years she has been doing my hair, I can honestly say I have never regretted one appointment or one dollar spent! I look forward to every appointment, knowing my hair will continue to look the best it can. And over the years, Ellen has become my favorite hairstylist of all times and a great friend!

I am NOT writing this post to bully Melissa, but to bring attention to this situation . Because I…read morethink I was taken advantage of due to my disability. Because when she put these extensions into my hair she only took an hour and a half to install these. And it is supposed to take three hours. She was hurrying because her babysitter had to leave at a certain time. I told her about my insecurities regarding my hair because I've had extremely bad hair stylists. And she reassured me that she would never do those things to me. Please beware of the Mile High Mermaid. Melissa is a scam I went to her because I had just received a really bad mullet hair cut. Melissa said my hair may be too short, but if she determined it was she would give me my money back. At my consultation appointment she never brought up the length of of my hair , just the color. My extensions were not even in for one day and I expressed my concerns because my hair was not even going up in a ponytail. However, she did not have an appointment to fix them until the next Tuesday. She canceled on me due to he being sick. I didn't have a problem with that, but I needed my hair to be fixed because I was feeling self conscious. I spoke with the owner of Patrick Color Room & Hair Extensions Denver he said. "I don't feel comfortable touching your hair because it is not only to short, but it's uneven and too thick . She should have never put this extensions in your hair. You should ask for your money back." I decided to talk with her once I saw her in person because I do not like confrontations over the phone. However, when I went to get up on Thursday I felt a pull and a tug at my root of my hair . A chunk of my hair came out a the root of my hair. To anyone who is used to have thick beautiful hair, something like this would be a shock. But I have cerebral palsy and walk with a walker, and long hair is the only thing that makes me feel confident. I know that it sounds vain, but my hair was the only thing that made me feel normal. I had informed Melissa about what had happened and she said that once the hair was worn it cannot be refunded and my hair is supposed to fall under because people loose 100 hairs a day. People are not supposed to loose chucks of hair with skin attached to their extensions. This is what I found online in regards to my situation. "They could have been put in too close to your root or there maybe not enough of your own hair attached the extension strand therefore too much weight on the strand." My sister had to take out my extensions because my caregiver found two other sections of hair that were being pulled out by the root. Again I am not writing this to bully or harass Melissa; I just want to bring awareness to my situation so it doesn't happen to anyone else .
