We've stopped at this place for years to get gas, drinks, snacks, etc. and yesterday we stopped by on the way home for drinks and snacks (about 2:30), not busy at all, we were the only ones in line, I think 2 cars were at the pumps. The girl rung up our items (2 drinks, 2 hot sausages), I paid with a card so I did the transaction myself; she hands me the receipt without so much as a thanks, a smile, just nothing. She leaves the items sitting on the counter so I ask "can I have a bag please" and she glares at me - an ugly look - then takes one hand and tries for about 2 minutes to get a bag off the bunch, sighs and then has to use 2 hands to get it, puts everything in the bag, still no thanks (I realize it wasn't our biggest purchase but it was a purchase and I thought that made us the customer) or anything. I've been on the other side of the counter and waited on people so I know about having bad days (you don't take it out on the customers) or not liking your job (I did like my job until I was robbed twice at gunpoint and still worked it because I needed a job). I don't know what her or the other clerks think their problem is but that's the last time it'll be taken out on me (us)! There are choices so I suggest going elsewhere.

The folks managing and maintaining the campground were friendly & accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean; we didn't use the shower area. Small, reasonably priced laundry at $1.75 to wash, $1.50 to dry. Excellent Wifi & cable TV kept us entertained. We really enjoyed our stay here & will return if the possibility arises.
