We happened upon the bars opening time and were greeted by a gentleman bartender. He was warm, friendly and willing to please. The drink menu was abundant with classics and house specials. Going inside you get to take the…read morebeautiful Angel Staircase up to the famous Marble Hall, which is where the concert takes place. I saw a wonderful Mozart concert here with strings and a visiting French Horn player who was fantastic. It's not a huge room and it's nicely intimate inside; the interior is clad with white marble and is gorgeous. I went in March and was able to get a ticket on the same day but I think in summer it must sell out. They have a coat check and a bar that you can visit before the concert and during intermission. Don't come too hungry though, because I only saw MozartKugel on sale for snacks the night that I attended a concert. Check on their website a couple days in advance if you can. It's really worth seeing a concert here plus you get to visit the famous Angel Staircase and Marble Hall, which are must sees if you're visiting Salzburg.

Egon Shiele Cafe is a small cozy place and isn't really designed to serve dinner. So we called the owner a few days in advance. The owner, his mom and their only employee - the most beautiful waitress in Krumlov turned out night into an amazing dining experience. We had a fresh tartar steak, delicious chili con carne and carefully assorted cheese plates. I also loved their creamy yogurt dessert with marzipan and peach. Good wine, premium spirits, live music and very friendly service made our night in Cesky Krumlov really special. Thank you!

What you need to know: *The show and dinner is a total of 3 hours. *The show starts off with music and during each mini break, you are served your starter, dinner and dessert. *Arrive on time because the show will start whether you are there or not. *The food was just okay. I wasn't keen on the vegetarian option because it consisted of all carbs. Keep in mind that you are mainly paying for the entertainment and not the food, so don't expect it to be Michelin quality. *Alcohol isn't included in the dinner package. You will pay separately at the end of the show. * For the most part, people dressed up for this dinner concert. Although, I did see some people dressed rather casual. To be on the safe side, I would dress on the nicer side. If you are visiting Salzburg, this dinner concert is a great way to end your trip.

We arrived at 1800 as suggested, and sat down for dinner. We were given a choice of seating,..which was nice. We were given the right amount of attention by our waiter throughout the night. The concert seating was great. There were only 7 rows, so it didn't matter if we sat in the 1-6 or 7 and up (when selecting the ticket..the focus is put here). We actually ended up sitting in row 5..and right in the middle...so it was terrific. The performances were terrific.. and with a 15 minute intermission...lasted about 90 minutes.
