These guys are truly the best and so professional when it comes to physical therapy…read more I've had to come here two separate times for issues with both of my knees, and Clark has been amazing. He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly. Whether you're an athlete, coming off of a surgery or just needing guidance with an unknown injury, the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Associates are a fantastic option for support.

I had been to several PT places in Lakeland before, but this place and their staff are outstanding…read more After an evaluation you are assigned a therapist for the duration of your treatment who greets you at each appointment; the feedback is amazing, then they walk you out. you feel like they really pay attention to you. I will only use them whenever Ineed PT.

I went to the chiropractor, Dr Jalen Banks, at Watson Clinic Center for Specialized Rehab on E…read more540A because of some headaches etc. I highly recommend him! He listened to the issues as I described them, explained the treatment as he worked and gave me some things I could work on at home to help. He does not use the cookie-cutter approach to his treatment, but uses an evidence-based approach. He schedules future treatments only according to each person's individual response. I highly recommend him.

They have several PTs and PTAs who are well-trained and encouraging. I experienced great success here. They blend strengthening and massage to coax your issues to better performance. I appreciated being assigned to ONE therapist and ONE assistant who followed my care (Better than Leading Edge or Cora, where I've also had therapy in the last 5 years but both pass you around to many people du jour.) I didn't give 5 stars for two reasons: accessibility-if you didn't plan well in advance, they were not available and you might have a week break between seeing them. (Also didn't like seeing the 2 days in a row rather than spread through the week.) Also they only work you 30 minutes, where others give you an hour for the same co-pay. (Granted, it worked, but I often felt rushed or "just beginning".)

The receptionists, who are the first contact customers have with them, are very rude…read more When I called initially I was told--with quite a bit of attitude--that it would be almost a month before they could squeeze me in. Perhaps had I not led with the fact that I had purchased a Groupon for 2 massages, so basically they'd my money whether I came in or not, she would have been a tad more courteous to a potential new client, but whatevs. I asked to be contacted if there were any cancellations, and low-and-behold there was one. The massage was okay--I've had better, but I made sure to tip handsomely anyway since I had planned, reluctantly, to go back for the second massage that I already paid for. Here's the thing that makes me upset: after the first massage I made an appointment for the following week for my second one. I put the date and time into my phone right then. I show up for the appointment, and I'm apparently a day early, but they mysteriously have an opening at that exact time? Someone done goofed, and since I know that I already had something scheduled for the day they said I was supposed to have made my appointment, I'm pretty sure it wasn't me. The kicker is, even though I'm sitting there 20 minutes, having been told the appointment was open, a therapist comes out and, again pretty rudely, tells me there's just no way she can fit me in. She even insinuates that I was lying about having made an appointment at all! I tried to reschedule, but every time she proposed was not feasible, even though I must have told the girl 5 times what my availability is. Rather than apologize for their screw up, they made it seem like I was being difficult because there weren't any appointments that fit into my busy schedule. I'm sorry...who is the customer? It's likely this bad customer service is because they feel like they don't have to extend professionalism since I've already paid (Groupon). It also could be because this isn't strictly a massage place, but rather a chiropractor/rehab/massage place and they make more money from dealing with insurance companies rather than individuals, but either way the experience was anything but relaxing. Screw the second massage. I'm not going back.
