Candice did such an incredible job shooting our wedding video. The vide is so sweet and captures the day so perfectly. She got all the highlights of the wedding day in the video and didn't miss a beat! I was worried that it would feel weird having a videographer following us around on the wedding day, but she was so un-invasive and her presence only brought more joy and love to our day. Her pricing is also very reasonable for the quality that she delivers! Thank you so much Candice :) read more

We had a fantastic experience working with Candice as our wedding videographer. She brought incredible energy and professionalism to our wedding day - she was upbeat, organized, encouraging, and so easy to work with. Her presence added a lot of fun to our day, all while she still captured video very seamlessly and unobtrusively. The final video exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully edited and truly reflected the best moments of the day all woven together. We had such a great experience with Candice and would highly recommend Candice to anyone looking for a talented, fun and energetic videographer! read more

Candice came recommended from our photographers, and was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with (also, pro tip, your photographer and videographer being friends makes for a really fun shooting experience). We were waffling on whether we needed a videographer when everyone has cellphones and would be capturing video - don't fall for the cheap option! Not only did Candice capture every moment we wanted with skill and artistry, she added touches and romantic flare we never would have thought of but turned out so beautifully. One of the most incredible touches was, in addition to the professionally edited film, she gave us the raw footage so we could add or re-watch pieces that didn't make it into the final cut. 100% recommended, especially for queer couples who worried about finding vendors enthusiastic about capturing the passion and authenticity of your love story! read more

Candice was absolutely wonderful to work with, and getting to hang out with her was one of our favorite parts of our wedding day! Not only is she an incredible artist with tons of experience and a real dedication to her craft, but she's just an all around delightful person who approaches everything she does with goodness and care. From the very beginning, she was an excellent communicator who was very professional yet genuinely friendly and warm. I immediately felt so at ease with her, like I was making a new friend. I already knew from her portfolio that her work was beautiful - but after our first conversation, I knew that we'd be in safe hands and that we'd have a ton of fun together along the way! On the day of our wedding, she had such a great energy and both cheered us on and provided a calming presence that made us feel safe and happy to be our authentic selves. She was always looking out for us, and even helped me when my makeup got a little smudged. She also had great chemistry with our photographer and wedding coordinator, which helped make the day run so smoothly. We felt so comfortable and happy hanging out with her, and Candice made an already unforgettable day even better! The final videos she gave us were also everything we hoped for and more. We got a mix of digital and super8, and Candice not only blended them beautifully, but also gave us a super8-only teaser too, and let my husband and I take footage of each other! She even perfectly matched moments of our day with things we said in our vows. :') We laughed and happy cried many times watching our films, and we'll be cherishing them for the rest of our lives. We'd do it all again with her in a heartbeat, and we'd recommend her to literally everyone we know! Thank you so much again for everything Candice! read more

Candice was a true joy to work with. Not only is she a sweet person, but she is a talented videographer. She brought such great energy to our wedding day & made us feel incredibly comfortable. We originally did not think we would want a videographer for our wedding, but I could not recommend HER more. She captured every single moment beautifully & I am obsessed with the reel she put together for us. She is fantastic at her job & I would recommend her over and over again. read more

Candice is an amazing wedding videographer, she did such an incredible job capturing our wedding day into a short clip so that we can re-live the day again. We had originally decided not to include a videographer in our budget, but halfway through planning decided we wanted one. We found Candice via Instagram, loved her style, so we reached out! She is so friendly, approachable, was easy to work with, and kept open communication from beginning to end. She captured all the important moments, while somehow staying hidden from all the big photo shots! Our video came out so sweet, and I'm so glad we now have this in addition to our wedding photos. read more

I was a COVID bride, and my wedding was almost 3 years in the making. Trust me, I was OVER IT. However once my wedding was postponed an entire year from 2020 to 2021, I realized that I could try to get a videographer now since originally I didn't book one. Candice was a referral from a Santa Barbara wedding and I'm so happy I went with her. She is extremely easy to communicate with online and we didn't even meet until my wedding day (different cities). On our wedding day Candice was just a constant, calm person that I really needed that day. She honestly just kind of stays in the background during your big day, capturing all the amazing goodness throughout your day. She also just naturally tagged team with our wedding photographer which made everything so much easier. We didn't have too much in terms of expectations for our video but we were blown away when we received it! It was so much more than we could have imagined and will cherish this forever. Thank you, Candice! read more

Candice is truly amazing! She is a true artist! I had an amazing opportunity to work alongside with Candice on an elopement in Joshua Tree National Park. From the moment I arrived at the Airbnb she was so welcoming and joyful! She makes you feel appreciated and comfortable to be around with. She's very organized and is skilled at capturing moments organically. She also understands that capturing a wedding/elopement day is a team effort and both photographer and videographer must be able to work cohesively. Hire her now! Not only will you receive amazing work from her but she's a blast to be around with. I'm very particular with people I collaborate with and I highly recommend her for her professionalism and skills! read more

I can't say enough incredible things about Candice and her work! I was fortunate to speak with her early on in our wedding planning process, and I couldn't be more grateful for the interaction. On our first call, Candice took the time to really get to know me and what my now husband and I wanted captured for our special day. She was also extremely helpful with other parts of wedding planning. Candice gave me some humble advice, which was especially appreciated given our wedding was in Joshua Tree, CA, and we live in Florida. I was so comfortable with her from the start, and the same sentiments are true for our wedding day. Candice was the right amount of everything. Her work is incredible, and our video was everything we wanted. She captured all the best parts, and we have been reliving the day through the video since. Thank you, Candice! read more

Candice is amazing and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to film our wedding. We met pre-COVID and immediately were drawn in by her cheerful personality and great vision. When COVID hit and we realized we needed to reschedule, Candice was incredibly understanding. When the big day came, 2 years later, Candice was as excited for us and to see us as we remembered from our first meeting. She kept us loose and made her work fun for all involved. We are happy to call her a friend, not just our videographer! Seeing the final result brought happy tears to our eyes because she captured everything so perfect that we could relive that day. Candice, you are awesome and keep doing what you do! read more

Candice was amazing as our wedding videographer! She was incredibly easy to work with, super chill, and really made us feel at ease during the wedding day. The highlight film she created captured all the moments we had hoped for, and seamlessly intertwined the 16mm footage. She had great energy throughout and would definitely recommend her! read more

Where do I even begin but to say that I absolutely LOVE Candice!! I think we would be friends if we met in different circumstances, so this goes to show she treats her clients with the upmost respect, professionalism, and understanding. Candice was the only vendor of mine who I met on social media, more specifically through a wedding Facebook group. They hosted an event to meet vendors on Zoom, and I was immediately drawn to her positive energy and impressive college education in photography and film. When I went to her website, I fell in love with her natural style. In short, she doesn't follow the stereotypical wedding video script, but makes your day into a literal work of art. Candice was actually the only videographer we interviewed, and we hired her as we fell in love with her on the spot. She was always so patient with questions, very responsive to emails, and flexible when it came to upgrading packages and making edits. Candice previously told me that she acts as a ghost on the wedding day, and this could not be more true. I sincerely didn't notice her and was impressed with how much footage she had considering she was a team one. She had so many different angles captured along with amazing lighting without the bright lights in your face. I admire her for going through 8 hours of footage. That takes a lot of patience! If I'm being honest, I was skeptical about hiring a videographer in the first place as I was cognizant of money, but I knew I would be missing out on a huge opportunity if I did not hire Candice. Many people I have spoken to think photography is a must and video is optional, but Candice's work is absolutely essential. It's vendors like Spin the Dial Productions that make your day that much more comfortable and special. Make sure to hire a videographer for your wedding, and without a doubt, it MUST be Candice! :) read more

If you're looking for a fantastic videographer with great vibes look no further! We are beyond thrilled with our wedding film we received. Candice is organized and a joy to work with the day of the wedding! She is super personable and you can clearly tell how much she cares for her couples. We added 16mm film to our package and would 100% recommend it! We honestly cannot stop watching our video :) read more

Do yourself a favor and hire Spin The Dial ASAP!!! Planning a wedding during this pandemic was interesting, to say the least. We had to change plans/venues multiple times and ultimately downsize our guest list to just family. But from the beginning we knew that our video would be the most important part for us! Candice was absolutely amazing to work with.. I felt so comfortable with her from our first phone call. Not to mention, she was incredibly flexible when crazy last minute changes happened! She kept us laughing the whole day and was able to really capture us in a such an easygoing and natural way. You can tell how much time and effort she puts into her work.. our video turned out AMAZING! I've watched it about a million times and our families rave about it. (Making people cry left and right lol!) Ohhh and lastly, i have to mention that i especially love how she can mix in the Retro 16mm kodak film!!! It really gives it such a unique feel. Seriously, 5 stars is not enough :) read more

Candice is simply amazing!!!! She is so sweet and soooooo talented! She made us the most beautiful wedding film that makes us feel like we're reliving our wedding day every time we watch it. Candice is an extremely talented videographer and we are delighted to be able to recommend her to others. We hired her for the 4-7 minute film package for our wedding in Los Angeles and ended up upgrading to the 12-15 minute film after the event, and are so glad we did. We loved how easy and comfortable it was to work with her and cherish the film she made for us. She is super communicative, supportive, fun, funny, responsible, and low-stress. We had researched a lot of Los-Angeles-based videographers, and learned it was difficult to find a non-generic, but also non-gimmicky wedding videographer--but then we found Candice and knew right away that she and her work are special. Her filming and editing captured the dreamy feeling of our wedding day in both a genuine and fun way. Candice shoots and edits in a natural style that is personalized to the couple and captures the ethereal beauty of the light and warm energy of the day. She was also very easy to work with after the event, and her first cut was a home run! work in her portfolio is really cool, too, so don't look any further and sign up with her company Spin The Dial! read more

Can I give more stars, please? Candice is EXTRAORDINARY. Period. Not only does she have an impeccable eye behind the camera, she is the most magical human. She is fun, respectful, and empathetic af. She made us feel so comfortable and she captured our natural selves on our big day. She cut the most beautiful film that allows us to relive the joy of our wedding, and the fact that she shares all the raw footage with her couples is AMAZING- a true and rare gift. I adore her and her gorgeous work, and will definitely be working with her for any and all future events/projects. She is an artist! read more

There aren't enough stars my husband and I could give Candice! Her documentary-style videography was just what we were looking for. We had to postpone our July 2020 wedding due to COVID, and Candice could not have been more accommodating, responsive, or understanding. When our big day finally came a year later, Candice was an all-star! Especially enjoyed our spontaneous post-ceremony video shoot running around the venue parking lot during golden hour. And don't get me started on the final video--I'll start crying! So beautiful, tender, funny, and just perfect. read more

Candice and CJ were incredible in documenting our wedding. We met with Candice before and gave her all of our needs/wants and she did a wonderful job translating that into a fantastic video. CJ was a delight on our wedding day, making sure to capture all the important moments without it feeling like we were on a reality show. We loved the trailer, super8 film, and mini-movie that we received. The entire video process was seamless and everything we could have ever wanted! read more

Loved working with Candice and her team. Highly professional and impressed with her focus, great job on editing and creating an impressive work of art. The documentary she created is moving and tells a story about my personal journey and why I became an artist. We had a plan of action on the day of the shoot. We shot a documentary in my art studio gallery in Downtown Los Angeles and then we shot some great footage at the beach. I love the documentary she created and I can't wait to work with her again. I highly recommend her to my artist friends and also to those getting married. read more

Candice documented our day perfectly and the end product of our wedding film was beyond what we could have hoped for! For starters, she is professional: Timely, courteous, experienced, and talented. On top of that, she is compassionate, kind, a relaxing presence to be around, and so much fun. Wedding Photos and Video can feel like a big production and such a big focus of the day, but Candice did her work in a way that aligned with how our day was going, and she did this unobtrusively and candidly. I am so grateful to have had a videographer that is also LGBTQ+ identifying, as my wife and I felt more comfortable letting her in on one of the most emotionally intimate days of our lives. The film itself was gorgeous! We chose to have a mix of digital and film for our video and I am so glad we did. The colors are true to life and warm, the music was nice and blended in well, and the way it was edited to include parts of our vows and speeches was so wonderful. Our package also included raw footage, and I am looking forward to combing through that to see more of cocktail hour and the full vows and speeches. We can't wait to share our film with friends and family! Hiring Candice was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. read more

Candice is amazing. It was really important for me to capture my wedding in the most authentic way possible. Spin the Dial Productions captured my eye because I LOVE the added film component. When I reached out to Candice, she quickly hopped on the phone with me and answered all my questions. We really clicked and I felt in my gut this would be a great decision. I wasn't wrong!!! Getting the final videos brought me right back to all the feelings I had on my wedding. Brought me to literal tears. It was also super easy to work with Candice the day of. We felt really natural around her and she pretty much use hyped us up the whole day. Thank you so much Candice! read more

We fell in love with Candice's videos online - she manages to capture the heart of every wedding. We had a relatively last minute covid wedding and she was patient with me with all the 1 million questions I had. CJ, who was with us on our wedding day, was an angel and my husband adored having him to give little notes and advice on our poses. Our video has done the tour with the our relatives who could not be with us on the day and we have received rave reviews (and happy tears!) . We could not be more thrilled with our choice to use Spin the Dial. read more

A month before our wedding we had to hire new vendors due to COVID restrictions/requirements in Los Angeles. We hired Candice at that time, which was an extremely stressful time for us, replanning part of our wedding with less than 30 days and for me, a videographer was a must. Candice was so easy to work with, from our first call to day of! She has so much energy, great vision, and has an old Kodak she can shot with too!!! Candice shot our wedding by herself, 145 guests, two different cameras, and the video is an absolute dream. The best part is we also received all of our raw footage, which was not offered by other vendors. Thank you Candice for your flexibility, cheerful personality your brought day of, and creating a video we will watch for a lifetime. We absolutely love Candice and our final product!! She was so patient in the beginning with fielding all of our questions and uncertainties about videography. We were sold on her unique real film specialty. Most importantly, she has the sweetest presence and was the best hype woman on the day of the wedding. I had a lot of apprehensions about seeing myself on video but I am so glad I trusted her and did not forego this aspect of the day. She eloquently captured our day in the true essence of our relationship. We are so grateful to call her a friend now and have this special documentation to share with our family and future generations. read more

Searching for a videographer is so important- I learned that quickly in helping friends plan their weddings and then planning my own. When people say they wished they would have gotten a videographer, its SO TRUE and I am so glad I did. It should be a top priority to every bride/groom. Candice was easily the best vendor I worked with. HANDS DOWN. When I originally contacted her, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to work together due to scheduling conflicts. She made it work and she made me feel completely comfortable in every way. Not just through emails, not just through site messages but was fast to FaceTime, call, text and even meet in person. Like I mentioned before, planning a wedding can be crazy but the day of is even crazier. I only remembered small snippets of time, I was soooo overwhelmed. Candice and Ariel, truly got who we were and made an incredible video for us. I cried just because it changed my perspective of the whole experience. My poor Mom actually broke her ankle minutes before I walked down the aisle. Thanks to Candice and Ariel- she can actually look back and see what she literally couldn't the day of- her first born getting hitched. Candice and Ariel, I can't thank you enough, you reminded me that even though the day was crazy, when sh!t can really hit the fan, I will forever be grateful and in love with my wedding day because of you guys. You also gave us the best pricing by a long shot. No joke, the best price I got from any vendor. The fact that you offer final balance payment due upon receiving your final video is not only logical, it's f-ing RAD! I 100% will recommend and tell everyone I can about Spin the Dial! XOXOXOXOXOXOXX Love you guys! read more

I reached out to Robert for our wedding and the entire process leading up to the wedding was as easy as can be! He had great communication and was a very kind and down-to-earth person to work with. Due to some very unfortunate events, Robert was unable to cover our wedding so Candice (who was supposed to be the second shooter) took the lead and brought an assistant. Robert still did the editing and I was blown away by how he still managed to portray the vibe and essence of our big day without even being there. Candice and the second shooter did a phenomenal job capturing the "little" moments and I couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Spin the Dial. read more

I hired Spin The Dial to re-edit my already filmed wedding video (using the raw footage). Last year I got married in November. Long story short, I quickly chose my videographer without doing proper research (not recommended). About a month after our wedding I received our wedding video and I cried. It was nothing that I wanted. I don't want to go into why this video was not good, but frankly I realized that I was not going to get a product I'd be proud of even if I had the videographer re-edit the video. I was a member of a Facebook page for brides and vendors, and I saw Spin The Dial Films (Candice) post on there that she re-edits videos. I took a look at her films and they were BEAUTIFUL! After going back and forth via email, about things I didn't like in my video, I quickly had total faith in Candice that she would be able to re-edit this to at least show a film that captured my wedding that I thoroughly loved. I received my video about a month after paying her the deposit, and I cried (this time out of extreme joy). Candice wasn't even at my wedding, and yet she captured the emotions, the fun, and all the little nuonces that I remember from that day back in November 2019. I can't even imagine what a video would have looked like, had she filmed the wedding herself, and I don't care at this point. She made my dream come true. If you are an unhappy bride with your wedding video, or if you are looking for a videographer, this company and Candice Nachman go above and beyond!! read more

We searched far and wide for a videographer for our wedding. It came to a point, where referrals and videos we found online all started to look the same. My husband and I were looking for a videographer that would be able to capture our personality and translate it into a video that we will remember forever and Spin the Dial did just that! All the videos in her portfolio are unique and true to the couples personality. It is not based on a generic template that a lot of videographers use these days. We immediately hit it off with Candice (the owner) when we first had our Skype consultation. She was the sweetest and it felt like we had known her forever! She also became our friend shortly after that. She was super helpful, responsive and she gave us creative ideas and suggestions on all of her asks. We had so much crazy ideas in the beginning such as making an engagement video, video montage and she patiently stood by us with all our change of plans. When it came to our wedding day, we didn't even know that Candice and Ariel were filming our wedding! A lot of the shots that they had were taken from a distance, which made our wedding video very authentic. What we even loved the most is that Candice was able to translate our personality into film and watching it makes us relive our wedding day. They even got a shot of our cat in our wedding film, which we loved and didn't expect. All the emotions that we felt that day were summoned by that film! Watching our film makes us feel like we were transported back to that day and time. It is just truly magical! Also, not to mention that Ariel even helped us out with transporting our alcohol to our wedding venue and he didn't have to do that! Candice also referred us to our also amazing photographer! Overall, I highly recommend Spin the Dial. They exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to work with them again in the future!!! read more

So we are obsessed with Candice! She's so incredibly talented and nailed the essence of our wedding with the most incredible video ever. It's something you'll have forever and will allow you to remember not just the wedding but the way you felt and the guests who were there. But make sure you use Spin the Dial because they are the best. read more

Candice and Spin the Dial were a dream to work with! From the very first phone call, to the day of the wedding, to the finished delivered product, we were impressed the whole way through. Candice was a great communicator and worked perfectly with our other vendors the day of the wedding. During the ceremony and reception, she managed to blend into the crowd as to not interfere with any proceedings but still captured the most amazing footage. Watching our wedding video allowed us to re-live the big day and appreciate special moments all over again, many of which we didn't have enough time to truly take in during the wedding itself. It was also very impressive how she blended our vows and speeches perfectly into footage she shot during the day. We loved our finished video and are so happy we chose Spin the Dial as our wedding videographer. :) read more

When Aristotle wrote, "pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work," there was no way for him to know the work of Candice, Rob, and Spin the Dial Productions, but the joy they have in their profession radiates from our perfect wedding video. Two of our friends got married a year before and said that of all of the investments they made for their wedding, the best one was having a video of their day that truly captured the magic they remembered of their occasion. They showed us their wedding film and we were blown away. Usually wedding films (at least the ones we've seen) are poorly shot, cheesy, and generic. Theirs was well framed and artistic, charming and genuine, and perfectly representative of the couple. So of course, we chose the videographers who produced their video: Spin the Dial. The process began when we met up with Robert well ahead of our wedding to get to know each other. We wanted to make sure that he and Spin the Dial was the right match for us. Robert also expressed that he wanted to get to know us and what we were looking for to get a better idea of how they could achieve the goal we desired. It was a pleasant experience and by the end of our meeting it was clear that he would care for our wedding like a friend. On the day of our wedding, we briefly saw Robert and showed him around the location. He then took time to wander around the venue and familiarize himself with the lay of the land. Later, we realized that he was basically choreographing his movements for the day so he could be where he needed to be when he needed to be there. Photographers and videographers can be distracting at an important event, taking attention away from the special moments they are attempting to capture. In quantum physics, the Observer Effect describes how the act of even looking at something changes it and influences the outcome. If this theory is true, then somehow Robert existed in a parallel universe, inexplicably filming our event invisibly, even though the footage shows that he was front and center the entire time. I have no clue how he achieved this. Not once did we think about the logistics of the filming during our wedding, we were confident that it was being taken care of in the competent hands of Robert. We were not wrong. After the dust settled, Robert and Candice met with us again, and checked in with us and asked us questions to ascertain what elements that they captured for us were the most important so they could prioritize and organize our project. Then, over the next few weeks they sent us rough cuts to get our feedback. My husband and I met at a film festival and both come from the entertainment industry, so we were probably more difficult and persnickety than their other clients. Candice and Robert treated us with continued kindness and professionalism. After our requests for edits, we received an amazing final product that reflected the tone and tenor of our wedding. It encapsulated the love and joy of our day. Our family and wedding party have fallen in love with Candice and Robert through this video as well. The praise we have received for it has really shown us that a wedding video can be more than just a simple document of an important day in a family's life. I was talking with my little sister tonight and she was telling me how she has shown the video to about a dozen of her friends and coworkers, and each of them finished watching in tears telling her how gorgeous it was. Some of the comments we have repeatedly received are about how artistic the specific shots are, the meticulous attention to detail, the delicate pacing, the balance of intimate shots during the ceremony and larger group shots of our revelers, the narrative structure masterfully woven through the video, and the skillful edits which managed to separate the wheat from the chaff. We couldn't agree more with these accolades for their work. We cannot recommend and thank Spin the Dial enough! We tell everyone about our wedding day and how special it was for us, and now we have a way to prove to them how extraordinary it really was. If it sounds like we are gushing, it is because we are. Do yourself a favor... if you want to remember your special day, you would be remiss in choosing anyone else. read more
