The shop used to have a very drab front altogether creating a very down at heel impression. It's now much spruced up with new shiny atractive sign but the service they offer was previously and still is perfectly good. You can also park off the main road beside it which is important when you have a lot of washing to lug up the road, though now I see that there is a useful new pick-up/delivery service operating with a smart new van.

I am always using places like this to get clothing I've bought in charity shops in and up (mostly up, I do like short shorts!) and bags repaired etc. The staff here offer an excellent speedy service which doesn't compromise on the quality of the alterations. I would normally use Marlowe close to a special occasion when I need to look my best and its fair to say my suit has had that distinctive dry cleaner smell on it more than a few times over the last few years! Ive also used their service for cleaning my more heavy duty coats and with the 'pleasure' of living with five cats it certainly comes in handy when I need something cleaned that has acquired a 'furry feel' to it! I always get my clothes returned in perfect condition and when you're trying to present yourself well its worth the money for the results you get from a well serviced clean from Marlowe!

They cleaned it and it was dry so all in all that's a pretty successful trip to the dry cleaners. I'm not quite sure how a dry cleaners can get any more than three stars, unless they put some money in my pocket... but they didn't... If you're throwing something away that's smash-able and you make the loudest noise you automatically become the dump alpha male! Luminous coats will assemble and applaud you all the way home! On a serious note this dump or recycling centre as they call it these days is one of the best around. There's a one way system that makes driving in easy. They have separate skips for cardboard, scrap metal, plastics and non-recyclables. They also offer electrical recycling, clothing banks and specialist fridge recycling. There's always plenty of staff here ready to assist you, last week I had a discussion about whether a clothes rail constituted scrap metal. Strictly this dump ain't for commercial waste. The staff were friendly and I got my suit done to a high standard at a pretty decent price. I think it was just under a tenner to get it done so I was happy enough with that.
