I don't even wanna give it a star, the barber lady cut me and made my neck bleed , sides didn't look like how I wanted em, taper wasn't even faded it just looks nasty. I signed up with the monthly membership and I can honestly say that each time I go in for a haircut, manicure or shoe shine I am blown away by the positive and friendly attitude of the employees, the warm atmosphere, and their attention to detail. Gone are the days of walking into a barbershop not knowing how long the wait will be, at spiff I make my appointment online, come in and get right into the chair! I feel like I have my own personal barber but for a fraction of the price. At Spiff you get top-notch service without the wait. Went in for a Beard Trim today which by the description on their website sounded like a bit of a Spa Experience with facial and scalp massage and hot towels. What I got was a full clipper trim ( no razor outline - even though there were razor blades right on his station ) I could have gotten the same trim at one of the many shops on 9th Ave for half the price. And to make it worse, the barber asked if I wanted to keep my sideburns as they were...and then buzzed one down to beard length. It is a shame it was such a bad experience, I am local and could have been a regular client....but I don't think so. read more

Wow, finally an all-inclusive spa for men! I went yesterday for the first time and the service was amazing from start to finish. I got a haircut which was amazing, a manicure and a beard trim. As a man, I don't love going to get a manicure simply because I'm the only guy in there. Here minus the staff it's only men so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all! Finally my wife won't keep pushing me to a manicure! The second I walked in to the Salon they knew my name and handed me a bottle of water. The place is spacious with a gigantic tv and bar. They have everything from coffee to scotch. Even after they brought me a drink they brought a towel to cover it so no hair get in there. The attention to every detail was astounding! For only 100 dollars you can get unlimited haircuts, manicures and shoes shines. For midtown a deal like this is unheard of. The average haircut in Manhattan has to be around 65-75 dollars. Honestly the place is so cool I'm just going to stop in there to get a coffee and get some work done. Of course this is covered under the membership. read more

I was one of the first people to sign up for the monthly membership...I signed up because I thought it would be good but I was wrong it's GREAT! For 99 bucks a month they give free haircuts, manicures and shoeshines...this place brings the fun in getting groomed...they always have water ready to hand out and you even get a drink ticket for an alcoholic beverage at the Hilton's bar...this place is amazing...The haircuts are spot on...i never thought I would like getting manicures but now it's one of my favorite things to get...this place is truly a luxury experience with an affordable price point read more

Spiff 54 is all class. Workers are both nice and professional. Atmosphere and cleanliness very conducive for a great experience. Got a mani pedi which was both perfection, relaxing and well needed.
