When he's grilling fish during the season (they are obviously closed during the cold months), you'll want to hit this place as much as possible. And if you're just passing through? This is where you stop!

It was just my wife and I eating since our boys have food allergies and preferred McDonald's. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and the service staff were really nice. I ordered the lamb shanks and they were divine! I expecting maybe two lamb shanks at most, but to my surprise there were four. My wife got the spinach spaetzle and she really enjoyed it. For dessert we shared pancakes with berries and cream and it hit the spot on the deliciousness scale. We'd go to City Brau again!

We did a quick day trip to Austria. Of course, we had to stop and try it. It was decent overall, and I actually really liked the name of the restaurant. Burgerista! I ordered a plain hamburger, but the bun was a bit on the dry side. Unfortunately, the soda machine was acting up; it was pouring out flat soda. I let the cashier know, and they eventually fixed it, but by that time, I'd already finished eating. Still, a cute little spot in Salzburg worth checking out if you're in the area!

The wait staff were polite and as attentive as they could be on an extremely busy night. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare. The filet came in different portion sizes and I ordered the smallest (250gm) however, they mistakenly gave me the large portion (350gm). The server admitted the mistake when I was given my meal. My steak was also not cooked well...kind of well done on the outside and raw in the middle. The server saw me cut it open and it was like he already knew and offered to take it back. So, my experience in a nutshell... 1. I was given the incorrect steak size AND charged for their mistake (46,20€ vs 33,00€ for the smaller one). 2. The steak was not cooked properly and they knew it before even serving it to me. 3. They could have given me the correct steak size when they took back the improperly cooked one but instead brought another large one. Bringing me the correct size the second time would have saved me 13,20€ especially since I couldn't finish it.
