Let me repeat that. The Bellwether House in Savannah, Georgia is not a five-star accommodation. Just because it is a historic location does not make it a five-star facility. It is two stars at best. * It lacks the following: * Valet parking * Bell hops * Actual suites: our Garden Suite consisted of one large room with two small, frosted windows, one bathroom and one closet. It reminded me of an isolation cell in my father's jail (he was a guard not an inmate.). There was a non-working fireplace * No dining facilities except for breakfast * No on site or nearby parking * No sizable bar * Worn appearance in places (see photos). * Steep and narrow steps to get to our room. We had to back down steep steps to get to our room. The rise got steeper and the run shorter as we descended. * Scarce storage space * Minimal electric outlets: bring at least three extension cords if you have any electronics like cell phones, computers, etc. * When making the reservation for our 55th wedding anniversary I told them that we would be bringing our 18-and-a-half-year-old Daschund. They said there would be a dog bed and dog bowls. Unfortunately, Otto had three seizures two days prior to our arrival, and we had to have him euthanized. There was neither a dog bed nor dog bowls. * Only one trash basket in the bathroom * No heat when it was in the 30s in the morning, 40s by midday, 50s by sunset * No nearby restaurants in walking distance * No automatic refills of water or San Pellegrino, you must ask * No soft drinks or alcohol in mini fridge * Weak internet signal * No handrails in bathroom or anywhere for that matter * Only one half of blanket * We picked up dead bugs during our stay * Ripped pillowcase cover * Minimal soundproofing * Despite what their website says this is not a five-star destination. Now, on the good side: Room was large Staff was friendly and responsive especially Scarlett and Koby It was exceptionally cold Savannah is a quaint old southern town The people are exceptionally polite and friendly We are accustomed to real five-star hotels like the Waldorf Astoria or The Kimberley in Manhattan or any of the Ritz Carlton properties in Florida. DO NOT USE BELLWETHER HOUSE

I was called at exactly my appointment time, and into a nice room and asked some questions. I was then taken into a small x-ray room by the x-ray technician. Both of these women were professional and smiling and happily explained each process. Dr. Gallina came in a few minutes after the x-rays and gave me my diagnosis. He was as sweet and knowledgeable as could be. He made me feel at ease, and clearly explained what I should be doing to resolve my foot problem. And I love that he was previously a Doctor for the Tampa Bay Rays! Wonderful! They are located diagonally across the street from Walgreens on the Island. Parking is behind the building. When you get into the elevator, make sure you press 2R (not 2). The elevator door will open up behind you and you enter directly into the office. NOTE: I had previously filled out new patient forms I had downloaded from their online website, only to be told by the receptionist that they were not the correct forms and she did not even know there were forms online. I then had to fill out all of the forms she provided to me. (normally I would do 1 star less as they need to update their website - but I will give them a chance to update first).
