After staying at Spider Shores Resort for well over 30 years, and 3 different owners, I feel qualified to say that the new owners have done an excellent job of turning the resort around with so many improvements! Rachel and Travis really are the owners that care about making this a place that people love to visit and return again and again. During the years we have stayed here, there have been many regulars that have not returned and I know one problem has been with the previous owner. Now is the time to give it another try and I am sure you will be more than happy with the "New Spider Shores". We have just returned from our recent stay and I have to admit that this has been probably the best stay in a long time. Even all the little improvements have not gone unnoticed. One important thing Travis told me that I feel tells a lot about the direction of the resort. He said "it is only going to get better" and I think that says it all. Great fishing resort! Be clear it's deep in the woods 25 minutes from the closest store. That being said the fishing is great the scenery spectacular and the cabins are clean. A real deal family owned place that provides great service but leaves you alone to enjoy your time in the Chippewa National Forest. read more
