Pretty good, a little oily but great flavour. I had the vegetable biryani and plain naan. The naan was definitely unnecessary because the serving size of the biryani was huge. They have a buffet option as well if you want to try more options. The buffet seemed to have a pretty wide selection of curries, sides, and dessert as well. Decent Indian buffet for $20.99 (for dinner) and includes chai tea! Food was very flavourful and they switch up the entrees offered, so at least one buffet item is different every time. Tonight they have this really good broccoli in a cream sauce. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the actual name, but it was very tasty! They brought out fresh garlic naan bread for us when we arrived. They have warm Gulab Jaman, but I found it a bit on the sweet side. Rice pudding was also good, but a bit too sweet for me. Good food. We ordered 3 curries (Paneer Makhani, Chana Masala and Aloo Palak), the veg biryani and the appie platter that had a mix of paneer pakora, veg pakora and veg samosas. Portions are very big. I liked the Paneer Makhani the best, the other two were okay. The Chana Masala is very oily, I mixed it with the biryani to use the rice to soak it up. Our supervisor decided to treat the team on her last day with us. I was very happy that she chose to get food from here because I had seen a couple other teams had ordered in food from this place earlier and it looked and smelled real good. We got butter chicken, lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, dal and paneer, as well as tandoor chicken, samosas and pakoras + lots of naan. Let's just say, we had quite the feast. The curries were all reasonably good, even if they were lukewarm by the time we had them. The tandoori chicken was nicely cooked and spiced. The naan - I must say, this place gives a lot of naan and some big pieces too. Even though it was cold, it tore easily and was rather tasty. Overall, really good place for Indian food! I've eaten in dozens of Indian restaurants to have a supper buffet and this place is one of the best I've ever tried. Some dishes in particular were outstanding. Notables include their tandoori chicken and the beef vindaloo but everything was excellent. Included were naan and chai tea. I'll definitely be back. read more

I went to Spicy Bite for lunch and it was amazing. Their lunch buffet had a larger selection than most Indian buffets I've been to and everything was delicious, especially the two chicken dishes. The staff was friendly and did a great job clearing the plates. I would highly recomend this buffet. read more

I have ate here a few times and every time the food is good, hot and just perfect for people who like hot and not so hot. Buffet style so you can try a bit of this and that or chow down on just a few things depending on your taste. Recommended for sure. If you are thinking of trying it do it. Lol. read more

Visiting on business with a crave for good Indian food and I got it! It was fresh and very tasty. The lady working (owner?) constantly stored and tended to her dishes at the buffet to ensure her presentation matched the foods excellence. The big oversized seats with wheels were a nice touch too. The Spicy Bite is as good and better then any restaurant I've been to back in Toronto. I will be back on my next visit to this nice town. read more
