Kohl's split the order into 6 different boxes. The first box arrived today. In the box was a very, heavy cast-iron pot with 2 toys and a tween nail care set. The nail care set was crushed with its contents all over the bottom of the shipping box. Who packs a heavy item with fragile ones without putting the fragile ones in a separate box? I called the Kohl's customer assistance number. The phone tree is ridiculous to get to a real person. The online chat option wasn't working either. I was told, "You can go to the store IF they have one and exchange it (the roundtrip drive to the nearest store in good weather is over 3 hours and it is currently snowing heavily so it would be 6 or more hours of traveling) or we can process a replacement but if you don't wait for the rest of the order we cannot help you with any other damaged items." I was told the rest of the order could take until Christmas to arrive. These are Christmas gifts with some of the items needing to be mailed from my end, which means there won't be enough time for them to make it for Christmas. This is NOT customer service! I paid for undamaged items, and I should not have to wait for the other 5 boxes to arrive to file a complaint for the damaged item(s). Their Kohl's Capitol One credit card also will NOT warranty items like a normal credit card does, so avoid this as well. Definitely, NOT a good experience, and I shudder at what I'll find with the rest of the order, since there is another cast-iron pan and fragile toys and jewelry still in transit. I will NOT be able to get a replacement for the damaged nail set in time for it to be mailed and for it to arrive for Christmas. There will be a VERY disappointed child. I will have to miss a day of work to return the item to the Missoula store (if they have one in stock, which may not be the case, the representative said there was only one left at that store according to the computer but that is "often wrong"), pay for a tank of gas, add wear and tear to my car, and risk my life on the treacherous roads, or NOT have a present for the child in time for Christmas. For shame KOHL'S!!!! Do better!!!!!!!!!!

    I've been a Kohl's customer with good standing for more than 20 years and a Kohl's valued card…read moreholder for at least have that time. I had an outstanding $54 credit on my card from a previous merchandise return a of couple years ago. I went to Kohl's a few days ago to use the credit to zero out and close my account only to find that Kohl's had already closed my account without ever notifying me. In doing so, Kohl's kept my $54. I checked my Kohl's card agreement, a long multi-paged document printed on 8.5" x 14" paper. The key sentence I found stated that Kohl's may cancel your card at ANY time for ANY reason. In other words, you as a customer have absolutely no rights and no protection. While I was in the Missoula store, I took the opportunity to look around. I was very disappointed with the quality and limited selection of merchandise. Kohl's used to offer good quality items but apparently no more. Also, while they have the electronic signs in the store posting sale prices on certain merchandise, you may be told at the register that the item supposedly on sale does not actually qualify for the current deal. Take this advice or not, but if you do shop at Kohl's, beware the pitfalls of their policies!

Sorry but my 15 yrs old daughter isn't comfortable with men walking around outside her dressing room giggling with his girlfriend and zipping up her dress for her while my kiddo is trying on bras next door. Then he's allowed to block the doorway while she has to move around him to get out. No. No no no no no. Will not return and will tell everyone what happened until this issue is corrected.

She tells me they will be in the store in no later than 5 days. I went back in 5 days and she tells me now it's 7. I asked for the sale to be cancelled and my money returned. She said they can't do that as that's not the stores return policy. I was shocked so I said I don't have the product so it's not a return. She said that's not how we do it. I asked if she could take the sku number from the floor shoe and cancel/ refund my money. Still no as it would mess things up. I then commented, I have to wait for them to come in, then return to the store for me to cancel this and get my $ back. She said yes. No other solution was given. I told her I need to cancel the sale, I got shoes and took care of the delay. Still no I'm kind of surprised at this so I asked for the manager. She is the manager. I wonder why in store credit wasn't offered. Or hey how about we get you another boot. She told me to cancel the sale and refund now would mess up the inventory. I had to wait and return. I don't agree with this policy or way in which she was so inflexible. Why tell me 5 days the product will be in yet now it's 7. I think they should have offered a different product/ boot or in store credit. I also wonder how my pants will be hemmed as there was no measurement taken for hemming. Ugh. Sad indeed !
