I would say that they definitely have a passion for serving others and have already engaged in the community raising money for different charities their biggest one recently was one for a cancer charity. I'm not much of a wine drinker my wife is but after tasting the Chardonnay which was fantastic we decided to share a bottle and they also have a bourbon barrel aged Cabernet which is amazing. We promptly came home joined the wine club and will definitely be back because it's only about a 30 minute drive from Greensboro. They have music and food trucks on average about twice a month and I can promise you that when you go you'll get good wine and be treated well.

He connected us with an amazing caterer and security guy, and was always quick to offer ideas or solutions. Half the time, he knew what we needed before we did. I had no clue what I was doing with the AV setup and he totally swooped in and saved me. He got everything working smoothly and stayed calm and supportive the whole time. We opted for three whites (Sauv Blanc, Viognier, and Riesling) and all the reds (Merlot, Montepulciano, Chambourcin, cab Sauvignon, and a couple of blends (including a meritage). They are in the process of releasing a new Monte/nebbiolo blend, which I'm thrilled we were able to try. There is a large offering of over 20 varieties. One of the current owners led our tasting and gave us detailed explanations of the history and thought process behind each wine. There are 11 wines that were the original Autumn Creek wines and then the new owners have added some new wines and new blends under the label Gioia dell'Amore Cellars. We liked all of the wines that we tasted. Our favorites were the Diamond Girl White & Red Blends and the Embrace Meritage red blend. After our tasting we purchased a bottle of Diamond Girl Red to enjoy on property. Outside the tasting room are a large deck and a brick patio with sweeping views of grapevines, a pond, a waterfall, a gazebo, a covered area and an event venue (where an anniversary party was taking place). We went on a Sunday afternoon, and they had live music, a hot dog stand called Triple Dog Dare Ya (delicious dogs, and they even had turkey dogs for the alpha gale folks). They have inside seating, it's very open but no air conditioned that I would tell, but it wasn't hot inside. Inside restrooms were very nice. Outside they had a stage, picnic tables, some covered and some not. Quite a few fire pits, and seating around those. They also have seating looking over the mountain. It was a gorgeous view!! You can bring your own chairs and sit out under the shade trees as well. Pups were welcome! If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by and grab a cold beer and check out the view!!

"We're glad to help you out!" of course I paid for it, but it shows how nice and willing to help they are. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy, so we couldn't really enjoy the place. Grounds are pretty and well-maintained. There was a large permanent structure for dining/shade and it looked like Floyd Country Store has a permanent structure there. Sound system was excellent. Use of natural slope for amphitheatre-like seating/sound very nice. Would be tickled to visit Chantilly again for another event. Bring shade if sitting for a long spell.
