So I hit up my trusty Yelp app & Sudsy Syds was 5 miles away. Score! On the way to Syds I spot the sign for KBs & I see a guy standing out front. I also spot the bucket & rags--he waves me in! KB to KB?! You know I have to pull in. I'm greeted by the tall drink of water & he tells me 'I'm Miami, let us get your beautiful truck straight!' I say 'of course!' I turn & there is also KB himself greeting me. He tells me to have a seat & watch the magic. I do! KB & Miami break out a pressure washer & cleans my Jeep better than when I picked it up off the lot! They detail like no one's business & also gives me an oration of the history of the area I'll never forget. I ended up spending three hours with them! KB is a staple & a rollicking great time. He knows it all & his laugh could part the heavens. Miami was funny too. We all agreed that I would come back before KB was outta commission for a while & before Miami went back to Florida. We even agreed that the KFC smelled dam good! The price was too low so I doubled it. Get your car detailed at KBs, you'll thank me later!

The touchless wash is definitely not ideal and requires me to still manually get bug guts and grime off my car. Today, after another "meh" round through the touchless - I decided to try the self-serve bay. As I'm spraying the wax treatment on half my car...it turns off. No warning. I had no clue what time limit my membership gave, so I literally had to drive home with wax dripping and wash off in my driveway. Haven't found another touchless in the area, so now I'm faced with my driveway or the inevitable scratches from the other guy. At least I never left the other guy with yellow soapy bubbles flying off my car into the wind. :(
