This store is absolutely the worst. I only have 4 payments left on my account and never made a late…read morepayment because they always called. Then one day they stopped calling and now I'm being charged astronomical fees. I'm beyond pissed and annoyed because no one left a voicemail like they did the other 7 times I paid, and it seems like because I'm at the end of my loan they want to start doing shady business. I will never in my life do business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone except to the pits of hell.

I will not say there is not great employees at this location as there are such as Manager Eli, rep…read moreBeverly, and rep Monica. Since I first started Eli has been the star of that location. He understand or tries to understand the client and I give that a five star always; but, like all locations, there are always some bad apples. In this case being a customer for roughly 8 months, rep Erica did not attempt to ease the client needs. Part of any customer service role is being empathetic and sympathetic with the client and their needs. Erica lacks the essential basics of customer service and more her message she showed by laugh at my concern. three stars Is not truly what would represent this location but based on the initial experience at the Grissome location tip over today. The way business works is retaining a customer not pushing them away.

Not so taxing! The Comal County Tax Office is doing a great…read morejob! Their tax assessor, Kristen H Hoyt is really making it easy to receive, understand, and pay your taxes. They make it easy, and you can even get your boat registration at their tax offices in downtown New Braunfels. Unfortunately, taxes are a part of life, you gotta pay them, but at least the Comal County Tax Office makes it easy and convenient. The staff has always been helpful, polite and fast. I wish all government offices worked as well as the Comal County Tax Office does. Everything from property taxes, auto taxes, personal property taxes, they do it all and make it look easy.

There was a short wait before we were seen, but they had several other clients there at the time, so it was completely understandable. Ala Shaw is what truly made our visit so wonderful. She was absolutely hilarious and had my husband and me laughing nearly the entire time. She asked all the right questions and made sure we were getting our maximum return. You can tell she cares about people. This is the first time I've ever had a fun and genuinely enjoyable experience at a tax filing agency. She absolutely deserves a raise! Ask for Ala when you setup your appointment or walk in.

This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I came in to do my taxes with my husband…read moresince I needed some help with fixing my return. I was scheduled with Miss Rita Fisher and she has a sign on her desk claiming she has 26 years worth of experience. After the formalities of meeting it was all down hill from there. Her customer service was beyond awful as she asked questions she answered them with insults just short of calling me stupid. This happened several times throughout our meeting which took about an hour because she had to keep getting up to ask questions about how to do her job. It took my husband and every ounce of self control in me to not get into an altercation with her and walk out. After an hour of this their system went down and we went home with no taxes done and seething tempers. The next day I amended our taxes myself since I figured out what was wrong myself. Waste of my time. From the bottom of my heart FUCK YOU H&R BLOCK AND FUCK YOU ESPECIALLY RITA FISHER
