Hauling my three year old out of the car to trek into a ridiculously overcrowded grocery store for the gallon of milk I always seem to forget is comparable to driving a stake into my hand. At Mr. Fresh, I don't worry about anything. I stay in my car, the kid stays in his seat, I drive up, tell the cashier what I want, tell her how much cash I have, and she brings me my change and the products to my car. Milk, cheese, juice, chip dip, chips, pop, whatever. They carry a variety of brands, a lot of which are local, the service is always quick, and whatever you need, odds are that they'll have it. You'd expect the prices to be higher and on certain items, they are, but like any store, they have sales to compete with the dozen convenience stores around, ie. Coke is on sale for $1.99/2L currently.

My husband was walking around the store and I guess when he turned this glass piece of a dab or bong rig to see what the price was, a piece broke on it.. I gave my husband my credit card for an emergency for our dog because she has a large lump on her foot that they believe it is cancerous and have to remove. They didn't even check the name on the card, they just charged him $15. I don't have an extra $15 laying around right now. Accidents happen, that's why there is insurance. I will spread the word that this is how this company runs. Let me also add that he was only looking around while he was waiting for his meal. A $5 piece broke that was replaced since he had a spare part, on a $90 rig.. yet he charged my card $15.

Expensive little place, taking advantage of the fact that they are on campus…read more I don't want to criticize them for their approach towards business, as they make it easy for students without cars and other transportation to have access to Indian and other Asian food and vegetables. However, they do have. Very limited stock and the prices keep on increasing as months are passing by. The staff is friendly and helps you navigate through. The place is a bit too small to hold up more than what it already does. Vegetables are normally fresh and I have never had any issues with the things I have bought here. But a gallon of milk $4.95 is a bit too much considering university foods sell it for $3.95 which is about 0.5 mile away. They do have other convenience store items here as well.

A place to find whole and ground spices prevalent in Indian cuisine, in addition to ghee, many oil, rice, and flour options, and a large variety of prepackaged and quick-to-prepare Indian stovetop kits (I don't really care for these items, when making your own homemade dinners takes less than an hour in most cases - but if really pinched for time and craving certain flavors, have at it). You can also get convenience store dependables (junk foods, pantry tins/jars, plastic cups/cutlery, etc), and eggs, milk, butter, and a few kinds of produce in the back (i noticed okra). Where Meijers failed me (in my hunt for mustard seed oil and chick pea flour), Little Asia Mart saved the day. Worth taking a peek around.

For the month of January, I pledged to "shop local", so it wasn't as easy to just stop at Target or O'Reilly's. I figured I could find an overpriced scraper here, even though I knew it'd hurt to pay 15 bucks for a $6 scraper. I stopped into this independent gas station and much to my amusement, I found an entire rack of scrapers, all (somehow) affordably priced. The smallest ones were only $2, medium ones were $4 and full-size ones were only $7. My wallet was happy! In addition to the mighty ice scrapers, this gas station also has a badass selection of drinks, snacks and household items. I was seriously amazed at how organized and clean their displays were. Tl;dr: This service station has a great selection of auto stuff, drinks and snacks.
