I totally understand that things get busy sometimes, especially when there's a large event happening in town! However, phrasing and delivery are EVERYTHING in the food/drink/hospitality industry. The same barista also acted annoyed when my friend asked for additional flavoring in her caramel macchiato. This was definitely a little off-putting. If/when we return to the area, we may give it another shot. But, I hope we will feel a bit more welcome next time.

I am certainly not a customer that believes the customer is always right, or expect anything above and beyond ... but I do expect not to be argued with and not be told thatI am lying. The quality of the breaded fish is just average but that ooey gooey dill tartar sauce wins me over everytime. This week was time for my splurge. I went through the drive-thru and ordered my two Filet of Fish burgers. Unfortunately when I got home I got my BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! What! Zero, zip, nada tartar sauce on either Filet of Fish. I opened up the burgers to inspect them and yep the chintzy 1/2 slice of cheese on the fish Filet in the dry buns. I ended up adding my homemade version of dill sauce that was left over from cooking beer battered fish at home. If this review was based on this experience alone McDonald's would have earned a one star. I'm sure it was an oversight or maybe even they ran out of my favorite condiment. Once again I tried to get fuel and had a bad experience at the pump. I pulled up to the first pump…read moreand it would not accept my Speedway card. It gave an error message to see the clerk inside. I was not about to do that so I pulled over to another pump. It had a special scanner reader so I scanned my Speedway card and it accepted it then I scanned my credit card and miraculously it accepted it. Then I filled my tank and when I finished the pump message asked if I wanted a receipt and I pressed the yes button. It made a noise and nothing came out of the receipt slot. So once again they have tried to force me to go inside and get a receipt. Fortunately I have an app for my credit card. It gives me an instant notice that I have a charge. So I really want a receipt, but I don't have to be forced to go inside of a station to get my receipt. I'll continue to look for a station that will give me a printed receipt and forget the ones that don't

I don't write negative reviews very often but sometimes you just have to tell it like it is! I have…read morecompensated for ages that you no longer get receipts at the pump. That would only lower my review to a four star. I have accepted it was beyond the stations control that someone vomited by the pump and I almost stepped in it several weeks ago. Today my experience would be a one star but I am choosing to be generous. I pulled up to an open pump and was in need of gas to make it to an out of town appointment. I should have had plenty of time but because it took me thirty five minutes to fill my tank I was a little on the late side for my appointment. So you're wondering with an open pump what takes thirty five minutes? I inserted my credit card in at the pump and it told me to remove it as usual. Instead of going to the next step the pump started beeping at me and kept flashing to remove my credit card. Check, I've done that. I pressed the button that indicates I need help. NOTHING! I locked my car and hike into the gas station. There were probably ten people inside in line waiting to buy a variety of food for lunch. I excuse myself and indicate I just have a quick question about pump five. The man in line is none too accommodating but I step up to the counter anyway to ask what I should do. The clerks response just put your card in again, take it out and proceed with the process. I went out and followed her instructions. Great it proceeded to the next step to verify my zip code. Then the pump starts beeping at me again to remove my card (my cards not in). I proceeded with trying to pump gas and the grade was chosen, the handle depressed and NOTHING. Repeat the hike back into the store. Great the lunch crowd was gone. I asked the two girls if someone could come out and look at the problem. Neither one wanted to do that. One girl was taking on her cell phone. The other walked me to the door and said the transaction was cancelled and I should move to a different pump. In a snide way I said "or different gas station". Unfortunately I was running so late at this point that I had to pull to a different pump and get some gas. After this experience I think I can find elsewhere to go in the future. I only went to this station for convenience even though they are slightly higher in price. So "Me thinks Not" is the appropriate two star Yelp review. It will be a long time before I return!
