I spend too much time than I want to here…read more Although it's the closest place open 24/7 to me that has beer and gas (and the other basics normally at a gas station), there are usually long lines, even at midnight or 1am. The beer selection: There's tons of domestics [bud, miller, rolling rock] in all sizes - 40oz to the dirty 30: which have their times and places but only one or 2 kinds of Great Lakes and that's about it on the microbrews [blue moon if you count that as one]. The big plus is that all of it is in a walk-in beer cave. The gas is usually relatively cheaper (in fact, gas in Old Brooklyn in general, is usually cheaper or average than other places in NEO). I don't smoke but I do notice the Malboro are cheaper [5.30something] than other places in the area. If you have a sudden craving for gas, ice cream, food, or beer afterhours in Old Brooklyn, it's here (and it has come to the rescue for me) but wal-mart at steelyard commons or Giant Eagle on Biddulph will have a better selection (especially for microbrews).

I stopped by this GetGo tonight, and... yeah, I won't be rushing back anytime soon. From the minute…read moreI pulled in, the place just felt dim and neglected. The gas pumps were dirty and unkempt. The overhead lights seemed dimmer than at other GetGo gas stations. I didn't not check out the inside but from the outside it also looked not really up to brand. It didn't feel unsafe, but it definitely felt rundown and poorly managed. Gas prices here were about 20 cents higher than at the other gas stations. I was too tired to look for any other nearby gas stations. The gas station is conveniently located pretty close to the highway so it was a plus. If you're in a rush, it'll do. But if you've got options, I'd recommend finding a cleaner, more functional station nearby. GetGo usually does better--but this one felt like it was running on fumes.

Okay I'm staying with a friend right down the street is a Shell gas station that's pouting fried chicken with signs all over the windows. Look it's that or Burger King Taco Bell or McDonald's within walking distance so I'm like screw it I'll check out some chicken and I walk into people are leaving and I asked a if you ever had chicken here is it any good to both occasions people smile and give a thumbs-up I'm going to go okay what's up with that. Additionally there's only one other review it's five stars I figured okay the owner reviewed himself can't blame him there. So the store is Middle Eastern own really super friendly people all smiles very very nice very friendly and welcoming I asked him a good luck on his side. Is is the chicken good I mean you got signs all over the windows is it absolutely should I order an 8-piece mixed dark and white meat he rushes over and gives me a fried boneless chicken strip I usually don't like these I'm not big on white meat chicken breast is always dried out always no matter where you go it's like finding a unicorn when you find a a chicken breast that's like moist and taste good that's just me. This chicken strip was freaking fantastic and I was just sort of hungry a little munchie it's not like I was starving and like anything taste good this chicken strip with outstanding I got my 8-piece brought it back to the house this chicken blows away KFC and I'm actually not a KFC fan and I've got to tell you it's on par if not possibly better yet different than Popeyes! So this is really a fantastic Fried Chicken store with a built-in convenience store the toy large by the way huge selection of everything that just happens this all gas outside I was really shocked and the food is Super Fresh they had pressure cookers and fires going in the background for chicken they had the steamy chicken in the glass window to order from this stuff is not been sitting around other people were leaving with chicken left and right the food is fresh it's delicious the customer service is warm inviting and friendly and if you like fried chicken your foolish not to stop in if you happen to be in the area. I'll be back probably a couple days can you eat fried chicken everyday but I will for sure be back maybe a 10 or 15 piece next time.

There should be a breast, a thigh, a leg, and a wing. That's how it always was here until new ownership took over. Now they say a 4-piece meal is a thigh, a leg, and two wings. A breast is $1.00 extra. Are you kidding me? Everyone knows a 4-piece dinner is one of each piece.

So after managing to find my way through the maze of highway I pulled in here to grab some liquids. I have to say, this is an interesting spot for a gas station. Especially given the proximity to the ballpark. It's not what you would expect, get out of your car and look over and see a ballpark looming above this corner lot. It kind of has a scary vibe to it and makes for a quick in and out type of venture. However, the staff inside were super polite and didn't seem to mind to chat. I had no problems other than how tiny and cramped it felt inside. But you do have to remember that this is a gas station and not a grocery store.

I changed my mind about 4 packs of cigarettes to 2 because their prices rise every day, it seems, and when I was given a refund, it was without the taxes I paid, and the manager said they don't give refunds for taxes, and I told him I will either call the police or the AG's office and the man became angry. What kind of BS is this! Don't buy anything from these idiots; they are scammers. WATCH YOUR MONEY IF YOU SHOP FOR GAS OR GOODS! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

On more than one occasion I have came into this gas station to purchase gas, cigarettes, etc. and…read morehave dealt with two different women on each visit. Both were extremely rude and acted as though I was a bother. I always make sure to thank employees for grabbing me my cigarettes or just for simply doing their job. I tried to turn a blind eye on the first occasion, after the employee blatantly ignored me to continue talking to a different employee (this one a male), along with messing around with her phone; she turned to me and so clearly rolled her eyes while saying, "yes?!? ‍" Did not say another word to me except that either. The second time I go into this place, the lady behind the counter reacts the same way, but even worse. No, "hello, how can I help you?... ". Not even a simple "what can I get for you?" from this lady. The woman stood there and stared at me like I was an alien from planet Mars until I asked her for the cigarettes I wanted. That didn't even bother me as much as I have became used to the poor quality of customer service this place generates, but then she proceeded to chop it up with a gentleman behind me, and said not ONE WORD to me; the customer she was currently helping. Gasmart review? Sure, why not?…read more This location generally has the cheapest gasoline. What's better is that it is the detergent kind to keep those fuel injectors clean. The actual store is very clean and bright inside. They stock the usuals one would expect from a gasmart, including every possible energy drink. Prepared foods are pretty good as well.
