I absolutely LOVE the h&c crossiant. They do add an aioli that might throw some people off, so beware if you are not a fan of mayo or spice. Since opening, service has always been friendly and much quicker. And I love that they changed up the seating areas- they added cushioned seating along the back windows. The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. I'm not sure of the actual in-house prices but for Doordash, mine was about $7.70 for what appears to be a large. The brown sugar ones already came with boba, otherwise that is an upcharge too.
