On our way to the café, we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of Rutgers. The staff at Hidden Grounds are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They're particularly known for their chai, so my friend ordered a Rose Chai over ice, while I opted for a Hot Dirty Chai. Another friend chose the Honey Bee Latte, also over ice. The chai is amazing--it's aromatic and captures the essence of a proper chai. The Rose Chai was very good too, perfectly balanced! Overall, it's a great coffee shop with a lovely space for everyone to sit and enjoy their drinks.

They also have a separate café and pastry counter if you're just stopping in and want something quicker instead of sitting down. I understand things happen and this is no reflection on the baristas that were working that day, however just be transparent with your customers. This is a good learning lesson is all.
