But the difference here is the kindness, warmth, and dedication of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location. I was unexpectedly in SoBe for a few days due to weather-related flight delays and had run out of my prescription meds. My doctor called in my prescriptions, but some info was missing. The Walgreens pharmacist, Dr. Jorge, went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot - both in person and on the phone, calling my doctor's office multiple times, and filling the prescriptions 10 mins before the pharmacy closed last night, before I fly home today. Dr. Jorge did this while triaging a crush of other incoming customer requests. He took a personal interest in helping me, and I deeply appreciate his dedication. In addition, this Walgreens pharmacy is so busy that it feels almost like an ER. Yet as I stood in line, I watched the pharmacy technician greet each customer with warmth, listen carefully to concerns, and efficiently resolve issues. I was very impressed with her ability to stay even-keel and exude positive energy in the midst of such a busy practice. Highly recommend.

They do not sell alcohol though, you have to get that somewhere else. I will say that they have tourist prices. I paid almost $15 for 5 drinks. The prices were not listed on any of the items that I purchased, which I found odd. Anyway, this store served it purpose and I got everything that I was looking for, to hold me until I got to another store the following day. They do take credit/debit cards here and there is an ATM inside as well. This place is a decent spot to get some quick snack items and drinks for those staying in a nearby hotel. It benefits from being the only shop of its kind in the immediate area and in walking distance.
